Guest guest
Hi Dawn, I just wanted to share that I live in the UK as well (S. Bucks), if you'd like an extra person for support. I'm a US expat so I'm not completely knowledgeable about options here but I'm here anyway. I have salines, had them for five years. > I was just wondering if anyone else finds their symptoms worsening at certain times of the month? About a week before menstruation everything gets loads worse for me and then improves the moment my period starts. Also I was really good during pregnancy. Is this a well recognised pattern? > > And by the way thanks for those who replied to my quest for UK Support - I have at least managed to find one other lady over here who is fighting the same battle! > > All the best > > Dawn > UK
Guest guest
Dawn, even before implants my whole system would go haywire pre menses...asked a doc about it one day and he said that certain hormone levels drop etc and causes this...one of those things that led me to get on the Pill, another evil from Hell which caused me much pain for 11 years. Fiona symptoms and cycle I was just wondering if anyone else finds their symptoms worsening at certain times of the month? About a week before menstruation everything gets loads worse for me and then improves the moment my period starts. Also I was really good during pregnancy. Is this a well recognised pattern? And by the way thanks for those who replied to my quest for UK Support - I have at least managed to find one other lady over here who is fighting the same battle! Guest guest
Dear Dawn, I get terrible heart palpitations 1 week before and get terribly moody and often giddy, I accept this now and say to myself I must be due. I am also worse in the winter, the summer months I find much easier unless its too hot. I really believe that this thing goes in cycles its something that over the years I have accepted but it took me a very long time, before that I was obsessive with the worry and thinking about it, I have learnt to just carry on as normal as possible and its really helped me. Guest guest
Dawn I also get much worse during that time of the month. I have read that is true of most autoimmune conditions. I sure wish there was a way around that but I haven't found one yet!! Guest guest
Dawn: You have hit the nail on the head. You are correct!Dawn Warrington <warrington@...> wrote: Thanks to all who came back to me on this issue of particularly bad times of the month for symptoms - nice to know that it is not just me. The whole issue of hormones is immense and the more I read the more complicated it becomes and the less I understand. I know that playing around with your levels is dangerous stuff and you need to know what you are doing else the whole pack of cards could come tumbling down! For now I will leave well alone and keep on reading. Dawn UK
