4 yr old with fever/back hurts?

Just worried. None of my kids have received any vaccinations. I have an

almost 4 yr old daughter. She has had a fever (101 ish) for a over 2 days- she

gets really whiny,clingly, uncomfortable when she has the fever- have given

her ibuprofen which gets her feeling much better but fever returns after

several hours/until she gets another does. She is not eating as well as normal

but drinking fluids. Her only other complaint/symptom is that her back hurts.

WHenever I happen to I touch her lower back (for example when putting

lotion on her after her bath tonight) she winces in pain and says it hurts. It

must be something contagious b/c my 2 1/2 yr old son started running a fever

today as well. My 10 week old daughter (fully breastfed) has not been

affected. ANy idea what this could be- I wouldn't worry but I am concerned

that her

back is hurting so much?
