Sheri, What do we tell our bull headed friends who will not heed the

warnings to used in place of tylenol?

I recall, I used it like water. I was in fact kneeling to the

tylenol god (oh, did I just write that).

What to use in place of tylenol???????

And, do you have any links to any of the studies you make reference

to?

Thanks.

Motrin/ pain & fever or use - Willow bark ( herbal) for headache.

Cooling baths and cold drinks. If the fever isn't really high - it

might be best to let the child's system try to fight the infection.

My husband is allergic to tylenol. Which is weird because we've been

told that there's no such thing as a tylenol allergy, but he tells all

of his doctors not to prescribe him anything with tylenol anyway

because if he takes it, his lips and tongue break out in red blisters.

Once, when he was in the hospital for complications of his

colitis/crohns, he was given tylenol containing pain killers, not once

but twice, after he told them he couldn't tolerate them.

  • 1 year later...

I wonder if they have ever done a study on children who regressed into

autism followint vaccination and the use of tylenol for the " minor "

adverse reactions like fever.

I wonder if there is a corrilation between giving a child tylenol

(which like you said depletes glutathione) after vaccines and then the

child regressing....hmmmm????

I recently requested a copy of my complete medical file from a

specialist I've been seeing for several years - there were notes all

through it about what a difficult, unrealistic patient I was because I

refused to take certain drugs that were offered and asked about natural

alternatives. Whatever. I'm the consumer - I'm not there to make

doctor's lives easier, they are supposed to be serving our best

interests, not complaning about how we waste their time by being

informed patients.
