Greetings from IIE LDM India team!

We are happy to announce the fifth The Leadership Development Mechanism (LDM),

India fellowship program. The program as you may be aware is part of and

Lucile Packard Foundation’s India population program. Implemented by the

Institute of International Education (IIE), the LDM program in India focuses on

the states of Bihar and Jahrkhand.

Please find the ‘LDM Program Application Form’ with attachment and we

would like you to kindly photocopy the application form and share it with

your colleagues and friends. We also encourage you and your friends who

have been working in the area of population and reproductive health in

either of two states to apply for the LDM fellowship program. The

completed application form should reach LDM India’s Delhi office by

November 15, 2003.

We would also like to mention that the LDM India Selection Committee after

reviewing the application forms will shortlist candidates for their

nomination for the fellowship program. Final selection of LDM fellows will

be done by IIE San Francisco office. Selected candidates will be

sponsored by LDM India to participate in specific course and training

program most suitable to their professional growth and development.
