Guest guest
Ann, I am sorry for that mistake if she is not PRO implant but she really had me fooled what SIDE SHE WAS REALLY ON. To get a personal email from her WHEN I EMAILED AND TOLD HER I HAD MS FROM IMPLANTS, well, lets just say it blew me away, when she also read Amy's emails. MY POINT WAS IF I HAD PEOPLE TELLING ME WHAT WE ALL TOLD AMY, I would have never got these poisonous things but I ONLY HAD PEOPLE TELL ME HOW GREAT THEIR IMPLANTS WERE AND HOW GREAT I AM GOING TO LOOK. MY PROBLEM WAS MY SELF ESTEEM PROBLEM like it is for alot of us and personally, I HAVE KNOW PROBLEM SAYING THAT at all. I am not attacking Amy on a personal level, what I was trying to say is LOOK BEHIND THE PHYSICAL PART OF THIS AND LOOK DEEPER AND a person will find it is not about the beauty but about something else. I wish I had friends at that time that didn't have a self esteem problem like I did or that I had found this before I had went. If I had even know that one surgery wasn't all it was going to take and that I would have to fork over more money, that alone, would have kept me from doing it. That is all heresay, but I just wanted to apologize if Maire is not for implants and I just wanted you to know that. T
Guest guest
T, Thanks for the apology, none needed for me, but I am sure that she would not want people to think she was proimplant. I do agree with you that we were not told about the dangers. Amy has has been adequately warned, I just thought it was a bit out of line to call her names and such because that will definately make her run the other direction in my opinion. I hope that she will change her mind! No hard feelings, Ann > Ann, > > I am sorry for that mistake if she is not PRO implant but she really > had me fooled what SIDE SHE WAS REALLY ON. Guest guest
I don't find a single post where she was called names. At least not by me. I just could not take another post about happy implant pre op wardrobe attire, sorry, it is too much for me to take. My explant was not that long ago that this crap does not hurt me. I also feel many ladies here came here to be free of that kind of talk and know for a fact that there are so many other groups that will be happy to answer those type of questions for her. If she wants to hear the negative side of implants we are more than happy to do that, but I am not nor will I ever tell anyone there was even 1 happy moment with my implants cause there was not, not one day. Bewary of people that email you and try to stir up trouble. I am only warning you. You can make your own decisions but there was quite a bit of backstabbing at one time and certain people had to leave the site after making physical threats. I am only warning you that one of thems name was Marie. It may not be the same one, but she threatened me and my family. be wary. Guest guest
, Thanks for the info. I was not here when she was, but I have seen her post on AOL a bit. I did see a post that called Amy a smartass and I was a bit shocked at that and wanted to mention it. I understand why this group is here and everything that WE have ALL been through. I just think that there are two more weeks to reach Amy and regardless how we all feel about her hee hee issues I would rather try until the last possible moment to prevent her mistake. Of course you are all entitled to feel differently. Take care, Ann > > > Ann, > > > > > > I am sorry for that mistake if she is not PRO implant but she > > really > > > had me fooled what SIDE SHE WAS REALLY ON. Guest guest
Oh I do agree that there are two more weeks to help her from making that choice, but she seems pretty set on what she wants to do and her remarks were a little rude to me. I am sorry if you feel anyone was out of line with her, but we all were feeling a bit attacked and betrayed. have you had your implants out yet? I think you are still waiting or am I wrong? Maybe after you go through yet another surgery you will feel or understand our thought process better. It is another hell to go through and while most of us were happy with our experience with the explant, it is still not a real pleasant thing to go through. take care , " nantynannie " <nantynannie@y...> wrote: > , > > Thanks for the info. Guest guest
, I do understand, I just have a different approach than you have. Yes I have had my implants out (4 weeks ago) along with a lift and yes I am just as sick as the rest of you. Guest guest
Ann you're right. I did call her a smartass. Maybe I shouldnt have but with her giggles and hehehes...she was/is trying to make people angry and it worked for me!!!! I was and am offended by her and if my statement offended you that I apologize for, but that is all. If all she wanted was information, she would have gotten it and left the site, but she was after more than that. Several ladies on this site has suffered too much and lost too much to this illness and they do not deserved to be treated with such disrespect. Guest guest
Vickie I agree with you, maybe resorting to her level was not that nice of us, but she pissed me off too. And your absolutely right about us having been through too much to be treated with disrespect. There is a difference between writting something in regard to getting informatiion and then writting to be rude and stir up trouble. I am one of the co moderators on this site, and while I let Patty do most of the work lately I too, have read some really mean things that this woman said that had no place on this site. Had you read them, Ann, you would also be extremely offended. The bottom line was that Amy mistakenly somehow, thought this was a positive or pro implant site. She had now left the group and there is no need to go on about it. She is not going to change her mind she feels implants are safe and is going through with her surgery. There is not much point in beating a dead horse, to use someone elses analogy. Hugs In , Vickie <gracie17db@y...> wrote: > Ann you're right. I did call her a smartass.
