Although the story clearly bolsters our dedication to continuing to speak out about the lack of vaccine safety. We're not going away. You can write books that call us " fringe " kooks, you can blog that my hair is ugly or that Dan Olmsted is (insert insult here) or that our readers are " desperate. " That's a load of crap. Children are being vaccine injured every day, and have been for a long time. Here's another. God bless her. Irish Voice, NY IRISH American actor Aidan Quinn Ava Quinn has, however, been a joy to her parents, Aidan and his wife Bracco (sister of Lorraine Bracco of Sopranos fame.) But it surely hasn't been easy for the family, which also includes a 10-year-old girl. Ava was, according to her dad, a perfectly normal baby, until she got vaccinated. " So we had a normal child that was walking, talking, doing everything way faster than she was supposed to. Then, after an MMR, she got a 106 fever and turned blue and woke up the next day with dark circles and not knowing who she was. And uncoordinated. And her arm lifted up. Of course the doctors are all saying, 'Oh, that's normal.' " The horror must have been unbearable, but the family persevered. The worst, Quinn recalled, was seeing his child " crying uncontrollably and in pain and nobody can tell you what to do to help. And there is nothing showing up on any of the tests. But you know your daughter is in pain. I changed the " injures " to " injured " to avoid confusion. In light of today's atmosphere of publicity promoting vaccine safety, it seemed a good reminder of what is reality for many of us. All vaccines are not safe for all children. And the consequences can be life altering. Witness Miss Ava Quinn, who at 19 should be dating and laughing and avoiding being on Hilton, not featured on a blog called Age of Autism. That's why I ran the piece. You'll note its dateline is from just yesterday. Thanks for reading and commenting. They have no idea what the hell causes autism but they are so sure it isn't vaccines. A couple years ago I met a dad and his daughter at the Autism One conference. I was entranced as they shared her story. What made her unique is that she regressed into autism after the meningococcal vaccine she received when she was a freshman in college. Her father cried as they discussed in detail the living hell she and the family went through. She developed extreme sensory issues, had trouble speaking (she discussed how she wanted to talk but just couldn't get the words out), very anti-social and spent much of her day hiding under a blanket away from light. A typical normal college freshman who regressed into autism. She has since recovered through biomedical intervention using a very well known DAN! I can't help to wonder how many other college freshman develop similar problems as this young girl did after vaccination. But then again, it's just coincidence, right? I remember reading about Aidan Quinn a few years ago speaking about having a child with autism and pointing to vaccines as the cause. I remember him saying something like: 'we are doing something horrible with all these vaccines.' " It always saddens me whenever I hear of another person joining our fight. And while each and every parent who adds their voices to ours is welcome, and all of you rock, I don't want anyone else to join our fight or our children's fight. That is what all of us are trying so hard to prevent! Stories of children damaged by vaccines would remain isolated anecdotes, easily by health officials as " coincidence. " But we are saying that Ava Quinn's story has been repeated countless thousands of times.
