Guest guest
Hi everyone, Tricia has found me and is needing some help locating a doc/surgeon that will listen to her in the Kansas City area. She tried to post, but I don't think she was successful. Can you lovely ladies provide some help and encouragement? Her email is: tlleach@.... She would love it if you'd contact her directly This is a copy of an email she sent me for some background info on her. I've already answered the email, but more input is always welcome! Thanks so much for your help! Love you all, Kacey Hello Kacey!! I wrote to you several months ago asking questions about RA and breast impants. I was implanted with mentor saline implants in September of 2000. I was diagnosed with RA about two years ago. I feel very strongly that my implants have something to do with the terrible quality of life I am now experiencing. Just a few symptoms: joint pain, EXTREME fatigue, brain fog, depression, weight gain (as I have no energy to work out nor could I due to the pain) Anyway, I went to the family doctor yesterday and (oh by the way I have had some kind of vaginosis going on for about 4 months now) she said that my RA was in no way related to my implants that I was just looking for something to blame!!! I am wondering how she can make such a statement without any testing. I really don't know where to begin. Can you help? Where do I find a doctor who will actually listen? What test do I need to have done? Did you have to pay for the explant or did the manufacturer? I know I have a 5 year warranty so I need to get busy!!!! Thanks for any help you can give.
