Guest guest
Hello listmates. I was curious to how many of you have dealt with whooping cough and what was the success rate. My son is 8yrs old and fully vacc'd up until 15 months at which time I saw the light and stopped. There is a whooping cough outbreak at our school and it seems to be moving quickly. While my son isn't coughing that tell all cough he has had the typical cold symptoms for a week now and I can hear lots of mucous in his chest. No, I am not asking for treatment but would be curious to your experience with this. I do have an email into my homeopath and should be hearing from her soon. Thanks! Guest guest
Can you find out exactly how many kids have this and what is the total number of kids in school. Guest guest
It's not really your business to ask it BUT I would ask if those five were vaccinated, fully or partially. Guest guest
Hi, Sherry, my two-year old and four-month olds are just getting over whooping cough. It wasn't *that* bad. Yes, the cough is horrible, causes gagging, sputtering, spitting up phlegm, and sounds bad, but it didn't really bother either one of them. Didn't slow down my 2yo for one minute (unfortunately, lol), and my baby is awesome. Smiled and cooed her way through it all, what a little trouper. My 4mo is exclisively breastfed, and my 2yo is nursing as well, so I believe that helped IMMENSELY. The ped was awful, tried to get the entire family to go on " profylactic antibiotics " (sp), literally told me that the Public Health SWAT team would be at my door, that I was going to cause an epidemic, and tried to make me feel guilty about EVERYTHING. I agree with the others, and would question the actual statistics of this " outbreak " . +4 ( 10, Quinn 5, Jezek 2, Briar 4 months) __________________________________________________________________ Canada Toolbar: Search from anywhere on the web, and bookmark your favourite sites. Guest guest
I treated this, went very well. For you, I would just stick with classical treatment if that's what you're doing, and by sharing the symptoms clearly with your homeopath I'm sure she/he will do a good job getting you through Liz > > Hello listmates.
