A moral defeat... :(

I can't believe it. My mother's husband went out on Friday and got

jabbed! Not JUST the flu shot... he got the flu shot (with the FULL

LOAD of mercury) DT, AND Pneumococcal!!! This is a man who, every

time he visits, has tons of questions for me about vaccinations.

Questions that I have answered well, provided him with documentation,

and he's never debated the issue with me. I always felt like I was

getting through to him and that he believed me. In fact, his own son

came down with Asperger's after getting jabbed to the hilt last year,

so he KNOWS they do damage to adults as well as children.... I asked

him why in the WORLD he got the jabs and his answer was, " Well, it was

your mother's doctor and she trusts her so I thought I should too.

When she asked me if I wanted the shots I said sure! After all,

they've never bothered me before! " Of course, he got sick after the

jabs and is just not starting to feel " a little better " . So then I

asked my mom if she got the jabs too.... she said no, she wouldn't

dare, she knows I'd clobber her. She was a bit outraged that her

husband chose to vax, too. ARGH!!! Days like this I just want to

throw the towel in on the whole fight... but I can't let the stupidity

of one stubborn old man detour me from trying to help our future

generations out of this vaccine mess, and protecting my children in

the process. Bleh! Sorry, just had to vent to my fellow comrades to

gather a bit of my sanity back! :)
