As I understand it R.O is the best next thing to distilled water.

I have been drinking distilled water  for about 35 years. When I first

investigated the issue,I read that distilled water

had no minerals in it. Then I read that the only way to get your minerals is

through plants. Otherwise you may as well pick up a bunch of rocks and eat them.

Then I came across the Health guru of all Health experts, Bragg.

At that time, he had been drinking distilled water for 50 years. I also sold

water softeners at one time. I did what they called a hardness test. Which was

called invisible solids. I remember well water was up to 90 grains hard.

It was like drinking solid rock. These inorganic minerals clog up the arteries

the way they clog up the water pipes.

The best way to get minerals is through your vegetables, especially raw.

Any way it was  Braggs  book " WATER-THE SHOCKING TRUTH that made up my

mind on that issue.

You might want to check it out for yourself. Just a little backround on the

Braggs. opened the first Health food store, the first health restaurant and

the first health spa in America. As a teenager he was crippled by TB. He

developed his own eating, breathing and exercising program to rebuild his body

into a glowing radiant health.

He wanted to live to age 125, but died at age 94---in a water sking accident.

Jack Lalain the 91 year old you see every now and then on the news pulling a

large boat with his teeth was a student of Bragg. Sometimes you see Jack on TV

selling his juicer. Anyway don't ash-can RO or distilled until you read what

Bragg has to say on this subject.

Subject: OT: Drinking Water

My DD is unvax and I thought I was doing everything to the best of my

ability (organic foods, etc) so I wanted to make sure her drinking

water was clean too.

Help! I thought I was doing the right thing when I purchased a reverse

osmosis water machine for our house so my daughter would have clean

water. I researched it quite a bit however I was really focused on what

containments it was removing and the fact it wasn't " dead " water liked

distilled. Now I discovered it's very acidic. I am very depressed as I

spent several hundred dollars on it and have been giving it to my

daughter (15 months) exclusively. What water should I give

her?!!!!!!!! !!! help!!Can anyone tell me about RO water?

distilled water is NOT dead - it is highly energized from steam

distillation - similar to what happens naturally with the sun.

RO water wastes a lot of water in its processing - it does take out

contaminants, but it is my opinion that minerals in water are not

good as the body cannot use them in that from.

Water needs to be free of minerals in order to take minerals from our

food into the cells and drop them off and take toxins out. If the

water already has unusable minerals in it, it can't drop them off,

can't pick up minerals from food and can't take toxins out.

I'll send some info.

I only used steam distilled water now.
