Guest guest
Hi ladies, RE: the flu shot debate. My husband who is active duty and will need to get the flu shot done in a week or so. He is going to see if he can get around it, but we are trying to figure out which is the best option to get if it has to be done. He has a choice between the mist and the shot and I just don't know which is the lesser of 2 evils. With me being 35 weeks pregnant and having a 14 month old running around, I don't want him to bring any crazy flu shot germs into the house! LOL Anyone have any advice on which shot to get if it has to be done? Jenn VA Beach
Guest guest
There are bound to be military families who can advise you on the coercion or otherwise to vaccinate, that your DH may face . May I suggest that, if he has no option, to dope up hugely on sodium ascorbate first? I would find that choice difficult. The Flumist is more likely to shed and also more likely to affect the brain directly. However the jab bypasses the GALTÂ immune system. Devil & the Deep Blue Sea. Guest guest
If you're pregnant, I'd say stay away from the Flumist since it's a live virus and it can be shed. Guest guest
Don't go the mist route... well, don't go ANY route if you can help it, but that may not be possible. Could he at least request that the flu shot he does get be the " mercury free " version? On Tue, Nov 18, 2008 at 7:23 AM, Richter <therichters1301@...> wrote: > Hi ladies, RE: the flu shot debate.
