Hi all, i am a 21 year old mother of a 9 month old little boy. i am new to the group. up until this point my son has not received any vaccines. i have a history of austism in my family, and that fear is what lead me to my decision to delay his shots until 2 years of age. i am able to stay home with him and take care of him 24/7. but i plan on starting college classes soon, and when that time comes, my son will be in daycare. so, i have a dr. appt scheduled with his pediatrician on monday, and i am wondering what the best way to go about catching him up on his shots would be. i do not want to pump him full of everything at once. i do have a history of autism in my family, so i'd like to take it slow, if possible. do any of you have suggestions? or have you been through anything like this? Guest guest
Hi! Welcome! Let me just start by saying all it takes is one vaccine to do the damage. Studies are now showing that delaying and spacing out still does the same amount of damage too. I recently responded to a news article and noticed that a comment was also left by a woman in her 50's. She had her doctorate, received vaccines for her job, and then fell into the world of Autism. So, it can happen at any age. You really have to study the diseases to realize the vaccines are a joke and do nothing but offer you chronic disease at any point in your life. For people with a family history of Autism, it is not about what age you start the shots at, it is about your family not being able to eliminate toxins and viruses like the average person can....Please feel free to read my blog at http://vaccinesexposed.blogspot.com My family's nightmare is in Sept and continues until today. > > Hi all, i am a 21 year old mother of a 9 month old little boy. i am new > to the group. up until this point my son has not received any vaccines. > i have a history of austism in my family, and that fear is what lead me > to my decision to delay his shots until 2 years of age. i am able to > stay home with him and take care of him 24/7. but i plan on starting > college classes soon, and when that time comes, my son will be in > daycare. so, i have a dr. appt scheduled with his pediatrician on > monday, and i am wondering what the best way to go about catching him > up on his shots would be. i do not want to pump him full of everything > at once. i do have a history of autism in my family, so i'd like to > take it slow, if possible. do any of you have suggestions? or have you > been through anything like this? >
Guest guest
May I suggest you don't? There really are no safe vaccines and they are ineffective anyway. But what to do with the little guy when you are in school, right? A home-based daycare will most likely not ask you, I never did when I had one, and it is a nicer environment for him to be in anyway, rather than a big center. I don't know if you are getting any kind of assistance for the payment for same, but most providers, even the small ones, can take those, I see them advertised in our paper here. Guest guest
First, kudos on not doing the deed yet! There's a lot of pressure out there. Second, know that just because he's going into daycare doesn't mean that he has to have shots. I'm not sure what state you're in, nor of course do I know anything about the daycare you may have chosen. Those two things will affect how you can go about getting a religious/philosophical/personal/medical exemption. Personally, I wouldn't even consider using a daycare that didn't allow exemptions. Here in AK, most daycares don't advertise it, but they will accept the standard religious exemption form that is designed for use in the schools. Clearly you are concerned about your son's health (rightly so!), and there's no reason to compromise and take a risk when you don't have to. Remember, you can always change your mind later and get him shots (though I hope you don't!), but you can't change your mind later and un-vaccinate him. Once it's done, there's no going back. Guest guest
> > i plan on starting > college classes soon, and when that time comes, my son will be in > daycare. Hi, Just to let you know, my son started daycare when he was 3 years old and i submitted a religious examption in NJ and had no problems whatsoever. Call a few daycare centers and ask if they accept religious examption. I am sure you will find many that will accept it, some private centers might not but don't despare, keep looking. Someone mentioned homebased daycares are a good idea but my son went to a private one with no issues. Your state might even have philosophical examption which is even easier. I aslo strongly advise against vaccinations. Don't inject his pure body with pharma solutions please, it's so unnecessary. I've been studying this subject for almost 5 years now and only now getting stronger in my convictions, and only now starting to see the truth and loss my doubts little by little. Good Luck! Guest guest
Hi Kaity, my first recommendation would be to cancel that pediatrician appointment immediately. If you don't know yet what the best thing to do is then you haven't done enough research yet. If you go into your peds office unsure, you will most definitely come out of there with a vaccinated baby. I'm guessing your baby is healthy so why make an appointment for him? A pediatrician's only advice is to vaccinate, they are very one sided. I stopped taking my son to the doctor when he was 6 months cause it was a waste of time and money. He is almost 20 months now, healthy as a horse. He had only 4 vaccines at 2 months and that is only because I went in to the doctor's office unsure, but just because I was unsure did not mean that I wanted to vaccinate, but then the doctor bullys and scares you and you give in and then you regret it. At 4 months when I took him for his check up, I was 100% sure I did not want any more vaxes and I told the doctor right away and I guess he could hear the confidence in my voice because he just said " ok " and did not badger me at all. Like someone already said, most daycares will take an exemption. Vaccines don't work anyways, so it's not like you would be protecting him if anyone in daycare gets a disease. Plus, are you and is everyone around you fully caught up on their adult booster shots? Probably not, so why worry if he is going to be around other children if you are obviously not worried about it now? You don't want to pump him full of junk all at once, so pumping him full of junk slowly is better? Probably not. I am too a stay at home mom. I'm taking college classes on line so that I can stay at home with my son. Maybe that could be an option for you if you don't want to put your son in daycare. I'm going to get my associates degree this way and then start going to a university once my son is a bit older. You have waited this long so don't rush into it. Do some more research, get a good book (I suggest Neil Z. 's new one,) watch some DVDs (like Sheri Tenpenny's or Tocco's,) and then make a decision. Good luck Vida > > > > > > Hi all, i am a 21 year old mother of a 9 month old little boy. i am > new > > to the group. up until this point my son has not received any > vaccines. > > i have a history of austism in my family, and that fear is what > lead me > > to my decision to delay his shots until 2 years of age. i am able > to > > stay home with him and take care of him 24/7. but i plan on > starting > > college classes soon, and when that time comes, my son will be in > > daycare. so, i have a dr. appt scheduled with his pediatrician on > > monday, and i am wondering what the best way to go about catching > him > > up on his shots would be. i do not want to pump him full of > everything > > at once. i do have a history of autism in my family, so i'd like to > > take it slow, if possible. do any of you have suggestions? or have > you > > been through anything like this? > > > > __.._,_.___ > Messages in this topic (3) Reply (via web post) | Start a new topic > Messages | Links | Database | Calendar > MARKETPLACE > > ________________________________ > From kitchen basics to easy recipes - join the Group from Kraft Foods > > Change settings via the Web ( ID required) > Change settings via email: Switch delivery to Daily Digest | Switch format to Traditional > Visit Your Group | Terms of Use | Unsubscribe > Recent Activity > * Â 11 > New MembersVisit Your Group > Health > Heartburn or Worse > What symptoms > are most serious? > Meditation and > Lovingkindness > A Group > to share and learn. > Moderator Central > > Join and receive > produce updates. > . > > > > > >
Guest guest
Hi, I have two boys with vaccine induced autism. My youngest is still non- verbal at age 10. I don't dwell on the past, but oh God, what I would give to go back and NOT vaccinate them. We have been able to do many things to improve our sons lives, and it has been a struggle and has cost a small fortune. But they still struggle every day with things most families take for granted. Please consider the risks involved in vaccinating and make sure you can live with the consequences. You can also go to some of the autism groups such as The Autism Research Institute or Generation Rescue to read about the link between autism and vaccines. Family history of autism is an incredibly HUGE risk factor, and boys are 4 times more likely to regress than girls, so your son has some pretty tough odds against him. Best Regards, Sylvia > > Hi all, i am a 21 year old mother of a 9 month old little boy. i am new > to the group. up until this point my son has not received any vaccines. > i have a history of austism in my family, and that fear is what lead me > to my decision to delay his shots until 2 years of age. i am able to > stay home with him and take care of him 24/7. but i plan on starting > college classes soon, and when that time comes, my son will be in > daycare. so, i have a dr. appt scheduled with his pediatrician on > monday, and i am wondering what the best way to go about catching him > up on his shots would be. i do not want to pump him full of everything > at once. i do have a history of autism in my family, so i'd like to > take it slow, if possible. do any of you have suggestions? or have you > been through anything like this? >
Guest guest
You are very smart to have put off vaccines. There is nothing magical about age two that will make it safer to give them, though. History or no history of autism in your family, every child is at risk if you vaccinate them. Taking it slow doesn't change that. You might think, as many of us did, that vaccines might carry risks but at least they'd protect our children. But they don't. This is something you have to read up on and discuss for it to sink in, but vaccines don't protect. They only harm. I suggest holding off until you research it more. You won't regret it. Guest guest
>Welcome to the list. Glad you are looking at this. There is NO safe way to vaccinate before 2 or after 2 or all at once or a small number at a time. No vaccine gives immunity either. Please read and ask questions here and start with my webpages too http://www.wellwithin1.com I have treated children who started to regress into autism who weren't vaccinated until they were 4 years old. Also have seem problems with teens and young mothers and mental changes, not to mention all the other injury. What state are you in? Most states have easy exemptions so you don't have to vaccinate for day care. Guest guest
Hi Kaity, Welcome to the group. You've already been given some good advice, so I'll just say... " what they said! " I have two boys, both unvaccinated. My three-year-old attends preschool and we have an exemption on file for him so that he doesn't have to be vaccinated to attend. Each state has their own set of rules on vaccine waivers, including the type of waivers accepted and how to go about filing them. What state are you in? Good for you for going against " the grain " , not being bullied by the docs and keeping your child's system free of poisons! The book Vida suggested is " The Vaccine Manual " by Neil Z. . It's an excellent choice for research, and just being on this list will give you a wealth of information. In addition, our list owner, Sheri offers some really good courses on vaccines and the diseased they are supposed to prevent. Her vaccine website is: http://www.nccn.net/~wwithin/vaccine.htm Also check out 's website (he's another of our brilliant and awesome list members) at http://whale.to/vaccines.html. And one more website to start with: http://insidevaccines.com/wordpress/2008/05/13/where-to-start/ There is a LOT to learn, and it can feel overwhelming. I highly suggest you not make ANY decision to vaccinate until you've given yourself enough time to investigate further. I have no doubt in my mind that you will choose to continue not to vaccinate once you learn the truth for yourself. Again, welcome aboard! Guest guest
This is so true. My step-brother recently regressed into Asperger's Syndrome after being vaccinated to attend college abroad. He was unvaccinated until age 19. Vaccine damage and even DEATH can occur at any age. Like Sheri said: " There is NO safe vaccine! Guest guest
Hi Kaity, I hope you are starting to get some info that may be helping you to make up your mind. I know it's a hard decision to make when you're getting pressure from the ped's office, and you think you don't have any other options when you have to put him in daycare. There are options, please just take your time and look into them. There's no reason you HAVE to vaccinate immediately. If you feel pressure from the ped, just tell them you are delaying, and that will give you the time you need to look into it further. I'm so grateful I learned about vaccines before I had kids. My two (3 and 16 months) are completely unvaccinated and the healthiest kids I know. They still get their little colds and bugs, but neither one has ever been on antibiotics for anything, and neither one has ever had an ear infection. Your intuition is telling you something and that's why you don't want to vax now. Trust your intuition. Story after story from mother's say the same thing, they didn't want to vax, got pressured by the ped, and wound up with a vaccine damaged child. Autism is not the only problem caused by vaccines. We are creating a generation of chronically ill children because scientists don't completely understand how vaccines actually work in the body. Diabetes, Crohn's disease, rheumatiod arthritis, asthma, allergies, ADD, cancer, the list goes on. These are the things we are getting instead of chicken pox, and measles, and mumps. You are the one entrusted with the health and well being of your baby, not the pediatrician. They do not know everything. Mother's instinct accounts for a lot! Don't underestimate yourself! When you make the decision not to vax, make sure you look into taking the next step by helping to create good health in yourself and your baby by eliminating toxins in your home and environment, and providing good nutrition, lots of fruits, veggies, unproccessed foods. I recently started a blog about my decision not to vaccinate my kids. I only have a couple of posts so far, but the reason I started it is so that friends and family understand our decision and how we came about making it. In the meantime, it would make me so happy if just one more person questions what vaccines are actually doing to our children! Good luck to you and I hope you are feeling stronger in your conviction. -- www.andiestevens.blogspot.com
Guest guest
I like the http://whale.to/vaccines.html. website. Its really clear and to the point! Some other vaccine related websites by Dr. Mercola, there's prpbably even more on his website: http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2005/01/05/vaccinat ion-schedule-part-two.aspx http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2008/11/18/do-flu- shots-work-ask-a-vaccine-manufacturer.aspx http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2008/01/02/mmr- vaccine-part-three.aspx http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2008/04/26/vaccine- autism-question-divides-parents-scientists.aspx?source=nl http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2008/2/23/vaccine- companies-investigated-for-manslaughter.aspx http://www.putchildrenfirst.org/index2.html I have two boys both fully vacinated. DS2 delayed MMR until age 2. I did not hear about the danagers of vaccines until my 1st was 1-2 years old. I discussed with Dr. and they convinced me it was safer to vac than to not vac. I insisted on thimersal free vaccines and only allowed 1 shot at a time. I wish I knew then what I know now, because I would not vaccionate at all. DS1 has been diagnosed with ADHD, a learning disability and I'll never know to what extent chemical toxins played a role. DS2 had a clogged tear duct from the hospital eye drops for a month. There must be an angel watching out for me because when I was first pregnant, the flu shot was recommended for pregnant women (OBGYN) and they were giving it for free where I worked. I was planning on getting the shot but they would not give me the flu vaccine because I was pregnant. Now I'm also hearing that floride especially when added to drinking water is not healthy and can be considered a toxin. I don't understand why the pedi would prescribe vitiamin drops with floride? Then, just this past week, the head of CDC was on CNN saying how vaccines are more safe than they are harmful and that there may be some outbreak if the majority of children are not vaccinated. No mention was made of all the vaccine injury children. Why don't they present both sides? Doesn't the media have a responsibility to be unbiased? > > Hi all, i am a 21 year old mother of a 9 month old little boy. i am new > > to the group. up until this point my son has not received any vaccines. > > i have a history of austism in my family, and that fear is what lead me > > to my decision to delay his shots until 2 years of age. i am able to > > stay home with him and take care of him 24/7. but i plan on starting > > college classes soon, and when that time comes, my son will be in > > daycare. so, i have a dr. appt scheduled with his pediatrician on > > monday, and i am wondering what the best way to go about catching him > > up on his shots would be. i do not want to pump him full of everything > > at once. i do have a history of autism in my family, so i'd like to > > take it slow, if possible. do any of you have suggestions? or have you > > been through anything like this?
