Toddler coughing-Remedies?

My 2 year old has been coughing for the past 3 days and it seems not to go

away.  Today he is sneezing alot, increasing clear watery discharge from the

eyes, nasal discharge(runny nose) and coughing of course.  He had a fever 5 days

ago for only 1 day and then he started the runny nose and cough followed it.

 

I've been giving him alot of water to keep him hydrated.  He takes natural

vitamin drops daily.  What else can I give a 2 year old as it's hard to have him

cooperate.

 

What homeopathic remedy can I give him concentrating mostly on his cough since

it's what seems to bother him the most and I don't want it to get worse or go

deeper into his respiratory tract.

 

Would giving him Vit C as powder form diluted in water or juice help hime as

well?

 

Anyone having any suggestions, I would really appreciate it.

I would like to go to natural food store today and  buy a homeopathic remedy.  I

don't want the cough to get worse or prolong itself into something else.
