Vaccinating is far more dangerous than not. Did she elaborate why

she wants to stop vaxing all of a sudden (did something she see/hear

scare her)? Why don't you invite her to this group so that she would

feel more comfortable learning about it?

me about it. i will though. so far the baby has only had one shot and

conversation got started.....

My girls were primarily formula-fed and my youngest has not been vaxed at all,

my oldest

was vaxed up to 12 mos. When we decided to stop vaxing, the breastfeeding issue

never

entered my mind. Obviously it's better to breastfeed, but it's also better not

to vax. My girls

get sick less than any of the kids in our circle of friends. When they do get a

cold, it seems to

be shorter than others'.

It's not just protection against diseases that is the issue. I would be

concerned that he would be in more danger of vaccine reactions being formula fed

because his immune system might be weaker than a breastfed baby's.

At this point, she needs to look just at the vaccines. Good for you to have made

an impact on her!

Hi Julz

#1 - vaccines do NOT give immunity in any situation

#2 - formula-fed baby probably more at risk for vaccine reactions

The key to letting go of worry is to learn all you can about the

diseases so you know the reality of them, not the hype to keep you in

fear and sell vaccine
