Dear kyness

I clicked, your link says " file not found.'

Your website doesn't show up either. The first I heard about the age difference

was in a book written

by Bidwell. This is the getwell-staywell lady who charmed her followers

into to financing a health bus

to travel the country, to wake up the masses. She never traveled, but did manage

to sell the bus

in order to buy a  nice little cottage for herself, in Washington. I wouldn't

bet my last nickle on Bragg's exact age but I would

bet my last dollar on his advice, since it is just plain common sense to

anyone who is really interested in wanting to be healthy.

As far as his death is concerned I received that information from his daughters

secretary in Hawaii, Maybe she was lying. As far as his statement about starting

the first health food store, let me quote from his book 'The Miracle of Fasting "

written in MM VII   " Bragg originated, named and opened the first Health Food

store in America. " Now giving your source the benefit of the doubt, maybe there

is another person or two who claims to have started the first Health food store

also . You know like the disputes they had over who invented the first

hamburger, telephone or automobile just to name a few first claimers. I don't

know that to be the case, but it wouldn't surprise me. However I wouldn't get

all bent out of shape  over it. Everybody wants credit for what they do. Its the

American way.  As for the TB, again I quote from the same book. " Crippled by TB

as a teenager, " goes on to say how he built his body up from sickness. But again

maybe his

daughter, Patrica might want to wax eloquently in order to give credit for

something he didn't do in order to sell his books. " who knows what evil lurks in

the hearts of men, and women. " That's a quote from " The Shadow .So lets go to

the source, himself. I will quote you from one of my favorite books that he

wrote in 1929 titled "  Cure yourself "   Page 127.  " In my own body I burned or

oxygenated the poison in my lungs and cured myself of tuberculosis. I drove the

air into  my intestines and completely banished ulcers and chronic constipation.

Bent and crippled with rheumatism, I sent the oxygen into my legs and burned or

drove out that disease. " So there we have it. Two different opinions. One by

and family and one by someone I am unable to check the background on. Just

a suggestion, of course. Maybe you might want to read one of his many books

yourself. Then you could give an informed opinion instead of relying on a

detractor who

may have an axe or two to grind. P.S you say he died of a heart attack like you

know it for a fact. Would you please provide me with some proof of that. I would

really be upset if his daughters secretary lied to me.

Thanks for your input.

Jim

Re: Water, again ...

A lot of Bragg's credentials have been debunked he was actually only around

81 when he died and he died of a heart attack not a skiing accident. I have not

personally read his books but it appears as though he didn't establish the first

health food store or have TB...here is a link that provides supporting evidence

Wondering about folks thoughts on this.

Since I started watercure.com, interested in quality of water: I'm using well

water right now - never tested but I'm still alive, as are the chickens.

Water discussion on vaccinations list. Wondering about validity of using

distilled

water?

Re: OT: Drinking Water

As I understand it R.O is the best next thing to distilled water.

I have been drinking distilled water for about 35 years. When I first

investigated

the issue,I read that distilled water

had no minerals in it. Then I read that the only way to get your minerals is

through

plants. Otherwise you may as well pick up a bunch of rocks and eat them. Then I

came across the Health guru of all Health experts, Bragg.

At that time, he had been drinking distilled water for 50 years. I also sold

water

softeners at one time. I did what they called a hardness test. Which was called

invisible solids. I remember well water was up to 90 grains hard.

It was like drinking solid rock. These inorganic minerals clog up the arteries

the

way they clog up the water pipes.

The best way to get minerals is through your vegetables, especially raw.

Any way it was Braggs book " WATER-THE SHOCKING TRUTH that made up my

mind on that issue.

You might want to check it out for yourself. Just a little background on the

Braggs.

opened the first Health food store, the first health restaurant and the

first

health spa in America. As a teenager he was crippled by TB. He developed his own

eating, breathing and exercising program to rebuild his body into a glowing

radiant

health.

He wanted to live to age 125, but died at age 94---in a water skiing accident.

Jack

Lalain the 91 year old you see every now and then on the news pulling a large

boat

with his teeth was a student of Bragg. Sometimes you see Jack on TV selling his

juicer. Anyway don't ash-can RO or distilled until you read what Bragg has to

say on this subject.

1c. Re: Water, again ...

The little research I did, appeared to basically be people selling

equipment to make distilled water.

Minerals in food are encapsulated and before the food is digested,

the minerals are selectively removed and water disburses them

throughout your body.. so not getting minerals from your water

doesn't make sense to me. Hard water is a different story.. but does

anyone in the metro area have that type of hard water??

You should have your well water tested! There might be pathogens

that can make you sick, and realistically, as refreshing as well

water is, toxic chemicals blow and rain onto your land as it does

everyone elses, and could very well be in your water and you might

need a filtration system, also. NS
