Guest guest
our vets don't force vaccines on us (UK) luckily. Just suing one who castrated a piglet by mistake! He then sent us a letter saying he couldn't be our vet any more. They seem to think they can get away with anything, big mistake. Using brewers yeast (B1) for fleas. At least you have nutritional vets in the USA, list in the back of this book http://whale.to/w/orthomolecular.html Don't miss http://whale.to/vaccine/driscoll1.html and http://www.shirleys-wellness-cafe.com/petvacc.htm Re: Question about pet vaccinations Although I'm in the UK so it's not a problem, I know many people in USA who don't chemically worm or vaccinate. Try to find a Homeopathic and/or Holistic Vet who will share your concerns. Can you not buy worm stuff in a pet store or online? I know with dogs, grated carrot added to food does the job if they actually have worms, as does garlic as a preventative. That's what I use. Muriel > > Reading 's comment on never injecting her family and pets ever again. > How do I get around the pets part? I had to get worm medication for my one cat, and was told, " we haven't seen her for over a year, we can't put up meds for her, until we give her her....she named off three shots....and I said, I can't afford that! She said she would put up ONE pill that would take care of it and it did, but she said I had to bring her in for her shots now. > > Even when they get " fixed " , it used to be that they would do it and give them their shots, at the same time. Now, they say they have to have all their shots first, THEN do the operation! That is bull@#*!, and all of the vetinarians do it now! That is robbery, but they hide behind, " we don't want to infect all the other animals in the hospital " And they won't " fix " them without the shots, they flat out refuse to do it! > > It's frustrating, I have a neighbor who's cat comes to our house to attack our cats on our porch, and had to go to the vet a couple of times now and this is what I am getting! > > Jim, what would you do? > > > Western NY > >
Guest guest
You can order any canine or feline vaccine from valleyvet.com. Complete with shipment is the vaccine, registration papers and collar tags (this includes the rabies vaccine). You may wish to just discard of the vaccine without actually administering it…but you’ll have the proper paperwork for proof of vaccine, in the event you need to show “proof”. You don’t need a vet to give the vaccine, you can just state that you did it yourself; should you have the need to provide that information. I believe there may be one or two states that they can’t ship to, but the vast majority of them, they can. In the 8 years of dog ownership, I’ve never once been asked to show proof of anything, but I know where I can get the “proof” should it be necessary. Hope that helps some of you who need to show proof of rabies vaccine, but know that in jabbing your dog, you’ve given them a life sentence of ill health by poison, and want to avoid it! ~Chris _____ From: Vaccinations [mailto:Vaccinations ] On Behalf Of Arlynn Liebster Sent: Thursday, December 11, 2008 5:41 PM Vaccinations Subject: Re: Question about pet vaccinations Just a note that in NY we are required by law to license our dogs and in order to get the license we have to show veterinarian proof of rabies vaccine. I do the rabies vax every 3rd year (to avoid having our dog impounded). But I never give anything else to her. -Arlynn
