Guest guest
I will have to ask about the type of urine testing you are talking about. It was recommended that we do a NutraEval test (urine and blood), but due to his age we cannot do either (too much blood to draw and it was impossible for me to get him to pee in a cup). My DAN doctor had mentioned possible chelation, HBOT possibly, B12 at some point, and he said definitely keep going gluten/casein free because I noticed such a huge difference when I started. This doctor was amazed that he didn't have any withdrawal symptoms though. My guess is that I started with him young enough that he didn't have a chance to be addicted to them yet, therefore no bad side effects when removed. I do have him on about 7 different supplements though. One thing I loved most about this doctor was the fact that he took the time to type a 3 page letter to my son's pediatrician basically telling her what he was doing and why he was doing it (that my son has detox issues, vaccines harmed his vulnerable system, and that it is about more than just mercury in the vaccines). He did it in such a way that was medically/politically " correct " though. His pediatrician was already researching vaccines - I'm sure this letter was why she had dark circles when I saw her recently. I've never seen her look like that. Sure enough, when I arrived home that day a copy of the letter was in my mail box - he already sent her copy a week prior! > > Dawn, > > Thank you, again, for your insight and sharing your son's experiences. It's interesting what you write about taking up to 6 months for the damage to appear. I never heard that. Also, you wrote last time about the improvements your son has made so quickly; that's really wonderful and also encouraging. Are they going to chelate your son? Did they test his heavy metals? They did a porphyrin urine test on my 10 month old and her levels are getting better - she is apparantely learning to detox on her own. She's too young for chelation, anyway. Two of the doctors that I am seeing don't agree on natural cellular defense. One recommends it, the other says it's never been tested (no one knows what's in it, so how can they test it, he says) so he does not recommend it. Actually, I will probably post this question on the site. I will def. look into ordering the book you suggest. Did your doctor suggest b12 shots and a non-dairy, wheat diet etc?/ > > Thanks, Christie > > >
