Guest guest
Sheri, I have an article form Randall Neustaedter stating that acupuncture and homeopathy are 2 methods of treating gerd in infants. Can these methods be used concurrently or do you have to chose one or the other? My daughter took my 4 month old grandson to the doctors as he has had a wheeze or rattling in his chest since he has come home from the hospital The doctor said the sounds in his lungs aren't normal and shows he is under stress. He is exlusively breastfeed and has started spitting up an awful lot of his feedings. And he doesn't have a poopy diaper everyday. Of course she prescribed ranitidine for the gerd and said if it doesn't get better she will have to take him to Children's Mercy Hospital and get tested to see what is going on with the valve at the top of his stomach that is letting everything back up. My daughter and I don't want this medicine, but her husband is worried as the doctor painted a scary picture and said he could also get aspiration pneumonia. Just wondering if we started with accupunture and then got in with our homeopath if that would be a problem? Of course my daughter might have to give him the medicine to keep peace in the family, and I know this would be suppresive. At least he isn't vaccinated. from Missouri
