healing/helping Crohn's

Evening,

I was wondering if there is any connection between the HepB vaccine

and autoimmune disease? My son*had* to get the vaccine before entering

high school. That was 7 years ago. He was diagnosed with Crohn's about 3

years later. Doctors, I have found, are a-wipes, no blow-harps []

..., hmmm, .......I'll leave it at " no helps. " I've been told it's

hereditary, yet, there is no one in either tree that has any autoimmune

disease. If anyone could point the way at sites to read, or books, I am

frustrated and feel like I am to blame-----Crohn's absolutely has

flipped our lives around here.

Any kind of help with understanding the why or helping to heal will

be greatly appreciated.

I feel like I have heard a lot about Hep. B causing autoimmune

diseases. I know that I personally got an AI skin disorder (lichen

planus) from the hep. B vaccine series - that's what got me looking

into vaccine safety/lack thereof. Too bad so many of us had to be

injured before we realized how bad vaccines really are!

It absolutely stinks. I checked my baby book and seeing how few vaccines

I got and how many I had given to my kids, is bizarre. I have to be

thankful that I did start researching in 2003, because my youngest

suffered a reaction, but it was also in 2003 that my son got his Hep B

shots. I dumbly thought that he was " grown. " He weighed over 100 lbs. He

was healthy. He didn't even eat fast food or pizza! (That was on his

own, he was vegan for over 4 years.) My mistake was since he wasn't an

infant or toddler, he'd be fine!

Thanks Melinda for jotting a note. Maybe this will make someone else

aware of the danger.

There is a good book written by Jordan Rubin that speaks on Crohn's disease.
