question regarding alternative treatments for major diseases (maybe OT?)

I know lately there have been a lot of posts about cancer and other major

illnesses and how

the chemo is worse than the disease itself.

I am curious what an alternative treatment would be. I mean, I have a little

baby at home - if

I went to the dr. today and was told I have cancer and need chemo, what would

other options

be? It would be hard for me to imagine saying no to conventional treatment for

something

that serious, even though I can see how nasty it is...what else is a person to

do?

Homeopathy?
