Toddler sick - nervous

Hello everyone,

I originally posted this story on the OT4Vax board, but I wanted to

put it here since I'm concerned it might be pertussis.

My daughter got a cold on Thanksgiving...fever for 3 days, junky nose,

that's it. This is like day 11, the nose is still just as junky (no

worse, no better). Now she is coughing in the evening before bed.

She woke up around midnight last night and coughed a junky cough for a

while. She eventually threw up from choking on it. The cough does

seem related to laying down and the junk pooling in her nose/throat.

Now this morning she has a low-grade fever. She is still in good

spirits. I'm taking her to the ped this morning. Of course, she has

had no vaccines and I'm sure that will come up. Of course, I'm

freaking...sinus infection, pertussis??? Sigh.

I feel like I've done everything right. I cleansed her bowels in the

beginning, saline, bulb suction, hot showers, Vitamin C, Vitamin D,

Sambucus.

Any words of wisdom and/or comfort are deeply appreciated.
