Notice how they left out the numbers? I would think that's important. Did they

Flu Cases Spike 400 Percent In Area

Doctors Urge Residents To Get Flu Shots

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A health-care center reports that the number of flu cases

treated in an area of Central Florida has increased 400 percent in the last

week.

Centra Care doctors told Local 6 News that the increase has been seen at

facilities in Winter Park, Longwood and along Lee Road.

" We're early on in the season and it's about to ramp up, so now is the time to

get your flu shot, " Tim Hendrix of Centra Care said. " There's still plenty of

flu shots out there. There's no shortages this year. The flu shot takes a couple

of weeks to take effect, so this is your warning. "

Flu symptoms include sore muscles, aches, fever, extreme fatigue, vomiting and

diarrhea.

Flu season typically lasts until April in Central Florida.
