4 Month Appointment

Just wanted to let you guys know that I took my little guy for his 4

month well visit today and got away with no vaccines and no issues.

The doctor just said " you are delaying vaccines right? " I said yes and

that was the end of discussion. I hear so many people get the riot act

from their doctors I'm so glad mine is more open minded. Of course

we'll see what happens when we tell him we are more than delaying.

I kept saying we are delaying until he is older and i would keep

delaying & delaying... She would say a few words how it's dangerous

and that she fully vaccinates her 3 girls and that she has never seen

any bad reactions, bhla, bhla.....I think that you need to be

confident and strong in your convictions. They see that strengh in

you and they know that nothing they do will change your mind. Now i

have a different pediatrician who is an awesome, holistically

inclinded doctor who never asks about vaccines. Just keep delaying

and one day you can just stop going for visits unless really needed.

Yup, they said he looks great. A perfectly healthy 4 month old

hitting all his milestones so far.

I " delayed " until was 1 year old. By then my ped was used to me

not taking vaccines during our well baby visits (he's always been non-

vax friendly anyway). Sometime after the 1 year visit, I finally just

told him I was not vaxxing. All was well.
