sorry, i lost track of this thread lol.

my son was fully vaxed to his 1yr shots. after looking back, he was

having small reactions (the dr.s brushed them off, but i learned

later) after every series. at his 1yr shots at 13mo, they gave the

MMR, DTaP (come to find out, it was an extra one at that!) & IPV. we

had some big personal family issues a week later & it wasn't until he

was 14mo that i fully realized he'd regressed to that of a young baby.

he's since not received any further vaxes/injections/drugs exept GA

for his hand surgery & brain MRI.

he started doing the shiver thing about 6mo later, when he was able to

walk again, but he had severe sensory issues, lost all speech,

cognition, etc. he couldn't cue us as to when he was hungry or

thirsty, etc.

now he's 4.5yo, we have some setbacks now & then, having one right now

actually. but i want to say by the time he was 3, he'd reduced his

toe walking to *very* occasionally, was trying to speak some, could

express when he was hungry/thirsty, but his sensory issues were still

wacky.

currently, he'll walk barefoot in grass now, has gained control on

various areas, his cognition is very good now, he can remember things,

& his speech has grown by leaps & bounds. he hasn't shivered like i'd

described, for about 2yrs now, but he still does it like dh & i do,

going potty occasionally, needing to go potty bad, if a breeze blows,

if he's tickled, etc. IMO, normal reactions to normal stimuli.

when you noticed the regression you describe? also, do you know at

what age he started doing the shiver thing? how is he now?
