Thank you everyone for your reassurance, and encouragement.

My son feels worse today, this is his 2nd day with a fever, and now

he is throwing up. I've convince my hubby about not giving him any

medication.

I explained to him that antibiotics kill all life, good and bad, and

that I wanted to give Nico, pro-biotics instead.

I also told him that to heal he should eat oranges, peaches, bananas,

instead of cooked food.

I took him to his doctor, he dx him with the common cold, and stated

that Nico sounds pretty clear in his lungs, there may be something

there, to bring him back Saturday if he is not doing better. He gave

me antibiotic prescription which I am not filling up, he suggested

the tylenol to keep the fever down, the humidifier, and mucinex??. I

didn't mention to him that I have not given him anything. He has not

been coughing either for no cough supressant. I took his temp

Tuesday morning it was 104, and Wednesday it was 103, when I took him

to the doc it was 101.3...He may be doing better, he just feels

worse, as he is vocalizing that he feels tired and his vomiting now.

When I was at the doctors I just nodded my head and asked for an

excuse for school which is the reason I took him there. School

enforce this medication and doctors crap. I have him medically clear

to go back to school Friday, that's of course if he is feeling up to

it at that time.

I'll let you know how he feels.

The baby is doing great, he has not been affected, neither have I or

his dad. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this remains the same.

I would not give him any food, especially oranges. They can be irritating to the

stomach and he is already throwing up. Oranges also can produce mucus, as can

bananas, and you don't want that, too. Peaches sounds good when he's ready.

Other than that, it sounds as if it's running it's course and you're doing a

good job nursing him through it. Poor thing. I'm sure he feels miserable. But

you don't need a doctor for this. You're doing just fine.
