ARGH.

So I went to visit my very mainstream sister today - thinks we're nuts

for not vaxing, takes a statin drug, is on antibiotics and sick ALL the

time. I found out at her physical this week she got the adult

tetanus/whooping cough vaccine booster. ARGH. So frustrating. I tried

to explain to her that she doesn't need a tetanus shot. She

said, " Well, just last week I accidentally stabbed a pencil into my leg

at work! " . I actually said to her, " Oh - did the pencil have animal

feces on it??? Because if not, there probably isn't a whole lot of an

issue! " . =) Anyway, I told that there hasn't been a reported case of

tetanus in our state for DECADES. She said, " Of course there hasn't

been - because everyone is vaccinated against it " . Trying to argue with

people gets very old very fast.

Just needed to vent. Thanks.
