Martha from this group mailed me that book 2 yrs. ago and it is so good! I read the whole thing in one night-I couldn't put it down! This girl went thru hell and back.

has anyone found anything on body odor and implants. could something in the shell becasuing the odor. also could the sweating excessive be my body trying to rid itself of the implants bateria. i know they say sweating is a way of relasing toxins so could my body be trying to get the toxins from the implant out????????/

OMG! After my explant, my breast REEKED of this putrid smelling stench. My wounds did not close for six months--I saw my guts/chest wall.

My chest smelled so freakin' bad that I had to wear thick gauze padding in my bra, but it even seeped through that. I was implanted for less than a month too! When your own body smells so bad that you're grossed out by it, you can imagine how bad it was--like a dead rat smell.

I don't think it was just surgery that made it smell because my BREASTS did not reek after my mastopexy in 02, but the funny thing is my underarms had a nasty stench that not even dial soap could wash off, my friend I stayed with in AZ after my surgery noticed it too and called my "Stinky" and joked that I should live out in the back yard with her beloved Niko, her dog.

Prior to this whole breast thing, I did not even need deodorant, just baby powder on my pits.

I never had this BO thing before and my hygiene is superlative--bath and shave daily--I'm a clean freak. Weird.I know hormones can cause this but my free testosterone is way below normal so the endo said it's not hormonal in my case, who knows........

Sorry if I grossed any of you out.

Makes my wonder if I have capsular left in me? I've read it begins to form a week after implantation? Any thoughts, comments?
