Guest guest
You are right. Yes there is! Even before Dr Wakefield publicised it re the MMR, children suffered from either chronic constipation with stinky grey clay-like stools or chronic diarrhoea. Also it seems that this can partly be attributed to vagus nerve damage but don't quote me. This happened to DS. Even though there was no evidence of coeliac disease (invasive GI biopsy under sedation, NOT anaesthetic) I cut gluten and casein out of his diet. However, the bowel symptoms were improved but not cured until he had constitutional homoeopathic treatment. Bound to be something on 's site. Maracuja From: <ladams9200@...> Subject: Bowel problems for a friend Vaccinations Date: Monday, December 29, 2008, 11:08 AM Hi everyone, I had a question about bowel problems. My friend's daughter has had bowel issues from the time she was very little. She was on all soy formula until age 1 and then soy milk. She is currently on whole milk. She has had all vaccines up to and including her 12 month shots. Even though I've tried to talk her out of them. She hasn't had her 15 and 18 month shots (as far as I know). She eats terribly...McD' s, Burger King, no veggies, etc. Which I know is a big contributor to this. But, she recently got the flu and ended up in the hospital for 2 days and she has been back and forth there for x- rays, more blood tests, and continual sickness. I just got off the phone with her and she said that they are referring her to a specialist at Rainbow Babies (a specialty hosp. in Cleveland Ohio) for bowel issues. As I'm talking to her, she's pulling into Friendly's for lunch and said that after all she's been through, she can eat whatever she wants for lunch!!! I didn't know if I should scream or cry. Anyway...I thought I had seen something quite some time ago about a correlation between bowel issues and vaccines. Am I way off or is this something that is true? We are best friends and I really feel bad for what they have been through in the last 1 1/2 weeks. But, I can't really tell her what I'm feeling when it comes to this. I hate to say this but she agrees with me regarding vaccines and then she goes and gets them anyway because her m-inlaw says to or her husband says to. It's maddening. So, our little girls don't get together as much as I'd like because she's been so sick and we don't let our little one eat that kind of stuff. So, it's hard to go out and do anything because my dd doesn't understand yet why she can't eat that stuff yet. Anyway...I'm done rambling but I thought if anyone would know something about if there was a correlation between bowel problems and vax's, it would be here. Thanks in advance,
Guest guest
vaccines cause just about anything, eg bowel disease http://whale.to/a/bowel.html Wakefield is currently being cricified for saying MMR was causing a new type of bowel disease http://whale.to/v/ibd.html soy is the worst http://whale.to/a/soy.html reminds me of a diabetes story, she treated herself to a Big Mack, as well. They just don't see junk food as poison. Bowel problems for a friend Hi everyone, I had a question about bowel problems. My friend's daughter has had bowel issues from the time she was very little. Guest guest
Thanks for replying everyone! I am trying to find a good way to tell her all this. She just won't listen. She listens to her mom and family instead, who in turn feeds her peanut butter cups, cheetos, pizza, chips, pop, etc. I talked to her today and she said she has an appt. next month with a specialist. She just doesn't see anything wrong with the diet. Her dd is constantly constipated and her x-ray shows she has a bowel obstruction of waste. So, she's trying to find a cheese that isn't dairy and she got lactose free milk. How about no cheese until she figures this out??? I just don't get it. I feel like a horrible friend talking about her on here but I just feel so bad for her dd that I needed some info to arm myself that if the situation ever warrants itself, I'll bring it up. I just don't know how without hurting her feelings. I will definitely be looking at those sites . Guest guest
Maybe you could ask to go along with her to the specialist (with a " please humor me " attitude, because I'm your friend and I care). Tell her you would like to hear his/her opinion about diet and if they say it's not the diet, you'll never mention it again. Doubt she'll let you, though. Hopefully the specialist will suggest it's diet. Winnie Bowel problems for a friend > > > > > > Hi everyone, > > > > I had a question about bowel problems. Guest guest
That's what I'm hoping for too...the specialist to say " What in the heck are you doing feeding her that garbage? " But, I know I'm dreaming. Maybe they'll suggest it.
