Mal(e)practice and Confessions of a Medical Heretic - this excerpt is good advice when it comes to so-called well-child appointments, which are really vaccine & drug marketing opportunities to support the dr's and prOffit's lifestyle! 1 Dangerous Diagnosis " I don't advise anyone who has no symptoms to go to the doctor for a physical examination. For people WITH symptoms, it's not such a good idea, either.. The entire diagnostic procedure - from the moment you enter the office to the moment you leave clutching a prescription or a referral appointment - is a seldom useful ritual. The mere act of delivering yourself to the priestly doctor and submitting yourself to his wishes presumably bestows this benefit. The feeling is that the more exams you have, and the more thorough the exams, the better off you will be. All of which is nonsense. You should approach the diagnostic procedure with suspicion rather than confidence. You should be aware of the dangers, and that even the simplest, seemingly innocuous elements can be a threat to your health or well-being. The Diagnostic tools themselves are dangerous. The stethoscope, for example, is nothing but the doctor's priestly badge. as a tool, it does more harm than good. There's no question that there's a high degree of contagion from the use of stethoscopes from patient to patient. And there's almost no form of serious disease that cannot be suspected or diagnosed WITHOUT a stethoscope. In congenital heart disease where the baby is blue, it's obvious because the baby is blue. In other forms of heart disease, the diagnosis can be made by feeling the various pulses around the body, In coarctation of the aorta, for example, there's a deficiency of the pulse rate in the femoral arteries in the groin. You don't need a stethoscope to make that diagnosis. The only value of the stethoscope over the naked ear applied to the chest is in the modesty and convenience of the physician. There is nothing that he can hear with the stethoscope that the physician cannot hear with his ear against the person's chest. as a matter of fact, I know some doctors who now put the stethoscope around their neck and don't put the ear pieces in their ears as they apply the bell to the patient's chest! At one time I used to think that was really terrible. Not any more. The doctor probably realizes, consciously, or otherwise, that the patient needs the stethoscopic examination because it's part of the sacred ritual, rather than because it makes any sense or does any good. And it can do harm, especially in the case of children. suppose a mother brings her daughter in for her annual exam. The child has no symptoms of illness whatsoever. But the doctor uses the stethoscope and discovers a functional heart murmur -0 a harmless heart sound found in at least a third of all children at one time or another. At that point the doctor has to make a decision whether or not to tell the mother. Now at one time doctors used to keep this information to themselves. they might put it in the chart in symbolic form so that nobody but the doctor could read it. recently, doctors have been taught to share this information with the parents, either because of their belief in the patients right to know - or more likely - because they're afraid another doctor will find it and tell them first. I was dog-tired and the whole introduction kept my attention, so I know it will be a good read. I've often thought a book should be written by a chiropractor, and here it is! Guest guest Posted December 29, 2008 Report Share Posted December 29, 2008 Yes, I'd definitely recommend it, but what I should have emphasised was that I wouldn't neglect to read his other books because they reveal soooo much about the dangers of allopathy! The firstb book I read on the subject was Barabara Loe Fisher's And M Coulter's DPT - A Shot in the Dark. The case studies were like reading my own 10 year struggle with allopathic and educational stone-walling. It was the first time I realised my DS was NOT ONE IN A MILLION - they LIED to me as they lie to all mothers. For starters here is what I do. I have vaccine business cards and a picture of the girl from N.Y. that died from the Gardasil shots, along with another paper with a two and five year old that also died from shots. I have copies of our state law and the Walgreen's Flu disclaimer . I always keep a few copies of Mendelsohn's book to lend give or sell depending on who it is. I have a chart of childhood deaths going down before vaxing. My truck is covered from head to toe with bumper stickers. I keep copies of the above in a folder with me at all times to give away. I place my cards and the dead kids sheet on bulletin boards in stores, laundromats,or where ever. I have copies of Dr. Tenpenny in the local Health food store for sale. I write three or four letters to the editor a year to the local newspaper. I get a few looks because of all the bumper stickers. Once in a while someone asks whats wrong with vaccines. I just give them a card and say if you need anymore info call me. If they ask other questions I will go as far as they want. I look for opportunities every day to discuss the subject. In the summer I wear a investigate before you vaccinate T-shirt. I then go do my banking, or store shopping.. I have over the years sent thousands of pieces of info to new parents from the hospital birth section of the local paper. One year I sent packets of info to every state rep in my state. Another year I sent packets of same to all major business in my county. I have sponsored two seminars with vaccine speakers. I attend seminars in chicago when Dr. Eisenstein, Marry Tocco or Dr. Tenpenny is on the circuit. Maybe this can get you started on a master list or vaccine action book.
