Guest guest
Hi everyone, I had a question about bowel problems. My friend's daughter has had bowel issues from the time she was very little. She was on all soy formula until age 1 and then soy milk. She is currently on whole milk. She has had all vaccines up to and including her 12 month shots. Even though I've tried to talk her out of them. She hasn't had her 15 and 18 month shots (as far as I know). She eats terribly...McD's, Burger King, no veggies, etc. Which I know is a big contributor to this. But, she recently got the flu and ended up in the hospital for 2 days and she has been back and forth there for x- rays, more blood tests, and continual sickness. I just got off the phone with her and she said that they are referring her to a specialist at Rainbow Babies (a specialty hosp. in Cleveland Ohio) for bowel issues. As I'm talking to her, she's pulling into Friendly's for lunch and said that after all she's been through, she can eat whatever she wants for lunch!!! I didn't know if I should scream or cry. Anyway...I thought I had seen something quite some time ago about a correlation between bowel issues and vaccines. Am I way off or is this something that is true? We are best friends and I really feel bad for what they have been through in the last 1 1/2 weeks. But, I can't really tell her what I'm feeling when it comes to this. I hate to say this but she agrees with me regarding vaccines and then she goes and gets them anyway because her m-inlaw says to or her husband says to. It's maddening. So, our little girls don't get together as much as I'd like because she's been so sick and we don't let our little one eat that kind of stuff. So, it's hard to go out and do anything because my dd doesn't understand yet why she can't eat that stuff yet. Anyway...I'm done rambling but I thought if anyone would know something about if there was a correlation between bowel problems and vax's, it would be here.
