Guest guest
Dear , For colds, flu, ear infections, etc., there are several easy things you can do at home. If your daughter is in pain, you could use ear drops made with mullein and hypericum. I would also suggest giving her as pure a vitamin C as you can find; also consider giving her vitamin D. Echinacea tincture (in juice) will help boost her immune system, as will Elderberry tincture. And feed her garlic and onions. One old remedy that really works is to put a few drops of 3% hydrogen peroxide in each ear, one side at a time. Let it sit until the bubbling sensation abates, or, if she can't tell you what she's feeling yet, at least 5 minutes on each side. You can repeat this 3X/day until the sniffles are gone. It would also be good to take an acute care homeopathy class to learn how to treat simple illnesses such as this, or at least buy a good beginner's book on homeopathy and study it. Or, if you have a certified homeopath, make an appointment for your daughter. Lymph node massage also will clear ear infections, and children especially love it. Read Randall Neusteadter's book on ear infections. There are so many ways to keep our children healthy, and none of them involves going to a doctor! Parents should take the responsibility themselves and learn how to care for themselves and their children, much as our grandparents did years ago. Good luck! Guest guest
Chiropractic is also VERY effective for ear aches/infection. I witnessed this first-hand on myself. About a month ago I went in for an adjustment... didn't realize I had an infection until the chiro ran his thumb down my neck below my ear and it HURT! He recognized it as an infection and adjusted me... IMMEDIATELY I felt the fluid drain from my ear canal, the pain was gone and it didn't come back. He's adjusted my son when he was starting to get an ear ache with good results too, but I never knew just how immediate it was until I experienced it for myself! Guest guest
I second the use of chiropractic for ear infections. I was a chiropractic assistant after high school and we had a lot of kids we treated for ear infections quite successfully. Although technically chiropractic doesn't " treat " the infection it just helps the body do the work of healing. > > Dear , > > > > For colds, flu, ear infections, etc., there are several easy things you can > > do at home. >
