Guest guest
Hello Deepali, It's good that she wants water. Give her all she wants, as it will make it easier for the poison to be removed. No solids or juice, just water. Her body knows exactly what it requires to heal. Water bottles are handy at a time like this. No anti-fever drugs as they cause complications - see 's articles on fever. Meantime, we are praying for her! Vaccinations Date: Tuesday, December 23, 2008, 10:17 PM Well today is my daughter's second birthday and she is not feeling well. She was fine upto last night but this morning she woke up earlier than usual but was happy that is was her birthday. Then I noticed her body was little hot to touch and she then vomitted little yellow fluid. Her temp was 103.3 I called her homeopath in India who said it could be food poisoning because she had some restaurant cheese pizza and noodles on Monday night. She had normal bowel movement last evening. He told me to give her Arsenic Album 30 - two pills every 15min for one hour. I just gave her the first dose. She is very lethargic and sleepy and asking for water. What else can I do? Deepali
Guest guest
I would wait it out. It could very well be roseola, the fever is helping, not hurting. I know it's scary, but just keep an eye on her. Plus, hospitals are always close by and always open, just in case. I think 103.3 is not that high for a child. Probably she will be better by tomorrow. Guest guest
Thank you Mara and Vida for your input. I gave her Arsenic Album as specified by her homeopath. Her fever comes and goes, she is still very lethargic, tired and sleepy. She vomited once in the evening too. I am still worried. Everyone except my DH is hounding me to give her some fever reducer, take her to the pedi etc. I think I will take her to the local homeopath tomorrow if she does not feel good. I tried calling the pedi's office but she's out on leave. So I called on her cell and just happened to mention that I am giving her some meds on my homeopath's recommendations. This kinda bruised her ego and she said you can ask your homeopath to give her the medicine. Then she tells me to put a suppository to stop the vomiting. Anyways I have to search for a healthcare practitioner in Dubai instead of relying on my India-based homeopath. Please keep her in your prayers and wishing everyone a very merry Christmas! Guest guest
Don't give a fever reducer. Let the fever do it's job. She'll be fine. Children get fevers and vomit. I know it's unnerving but it happens a lot. Winnie Re: DD not well and got high fever..Today is her birthday! Vaccinations > Thank you Mara and Vida for your input. Guest guest
Dear Deepali, Vomiting is the best way, other than diarrhoea, to expel poison! Don't suppress it with a suppository. If you need to, accept the rx for the suppository to placate the allopath, but don't bother using it, as it is just more poison to add to little Rianna's burden. It sounds as though the worst is over, that is, not continual vomiting. Lethargy is natural - she is conserving energy for healing. Rest & water are so good. She will be fine. If she can handle it, massage will be helpful too. Gentle and slow healing loving touch.
