Guest guest
There is a parent here that is worried about what she will do when the doctor applies pressure to vaccinate. I have missed some posts so I could be off a little. This suggestion works well. I heard another mom say she did this to her child. One that does not want to vaccinate during a well baby visit should look into thier babies eyes and promise the child they will not allow any vaccines to be given. Obviously the baby doesnt understand but if you promise this while looking deeply into thier eyes, you are far less likely to break the promise. Now personally I would never take a baby to a well baby visit in the winter or fall due to more illnesses. However I would not take them for any other well baby visits either. For those that really feel well baby visits are a good thing, a regular family doctor , according to what I have been told, is less pushy about giving vaccines. I have no experience with this but this might help. Plus ones insurance might cover more of the co-pay.
