Guest guest
: A sweet everyday is good for you.I'm dubious of any diet that says no sugar at all-- unless you have a medical condition. I've read chocolate is a type of antioxidant. So eat a natural piece of chocolate every day(a good brand without the funky chemicals in it).If you want a semi-healthy yet sweet dessert, consider a milk shake with hormone free/ fat free milk and two scoops of natural low fat ice cream plain ice cream or strawberries, or any fruit blended up with it. At least this way you're taking care of your sweet tooth, and giving your body protein and calcium. Who says treating yourself can't be a win-win situation? It's all in eating sweets in moderation and one's with good ingredient in them. My biggest problem is a sweet tooth! hee hee, I love sugar! I just have always been a chocolate, cookie, pie kind of girl, now I just do it in moderation and when i do it I get on my spinning bike or my eliptical and ride for an hour. This week i have been really good though. We ate out at applebees and they have a new weight watchers menu, good stuff, all low calorie, I had shrimp and it was yummy! I LOVE SEAFOOD, that is my favorite! You def need to get more protien and fat in your diet. Get that virgin coconut oil by garden of life and melt it then put it in a yummy protein shake, that is the best treat!-CIn , Jane Doe wrote:> All my endos and derms state that you need GOOD FATS for hair. Omega oils, olive oils, the good stuff. I went on a low fat diet for 18 months (eating less than 15 grams of fat per day) and little protein, and anemia. It caused some degree of permanent hair loss. Long term anorexia, low fat, protein, iron diets can cause follicular death. I was told I will get more regrowth but never be as dense as I once was. My lifestyle excellerated the process of involutionary alopecia (aging hair loss, every one gets this to a degree).> > I was eating better but I've been sick lately, I must eat more. The last few days I've had a bowl of cereal and juice every day, that's it. I'm going to fry and egg and eat on orange now.> jane> Vickie wrote:> Pam: eating low fat is not a problem i face. i love food and i love fatty foods, like steak and fatty fish....> > Pam wrote: I tried a low fat diet once and after about a month my hair was > coming out in huge clumps.
