Guest guest
Thanks so much for the advice. I looked up Dana's website (homeopathic.com?). I will have to check out her books. I have read a few things online and we do have a classical homeopath that our family sees. However she is Indian and sometimes difficult to understand. So, i don't get to really talk to her about homepathy and the remedies she gives us. We have seen amazing results. Mind you, it is has only been acute and not chronic (yet:). However, sometimes it can just amaze you how fast it works. When i use the stuff in the home kit it is hard to see results and it could be that i am not fitting the right problem. I don't know. The only thing i was amazed to see was how fast Apis worked when i got stung 3 times by a hornet. I usually blow up very fast. However, i ran inside and put that pellet under my tongue. I NEVER saw swelling. In fact, it barely itched. Praise God. When i have used Arnica it just didn't work. What would you advise for labor? I am due i Feb and we tried a few remedies last time but to no avail. Any one? jen c
Guest guest
Hi Jen, I'm sending this to the OT4VAX list, too. Are you a member there? We should move this conversation there, since it is not directly related to the topic of vaccinations. Herbal tinctures are quite effective before, during and after labor. My first midwife used them quite a lot, and it really helped. Wish Garden herbs has a nice line of tinctures. Also, the " Cord Care " is EXCELLENT for caring for the baby's umbilical cord. Just a little dab of Cord Care on the cord with a q-tip at every diaper change. It's also good for cuts and scrapes. http://www.wishgardenherbs.com/index.php?load=pregnancy & page=index & group_id=6 or http://tinyurl.com/9o9fpe I did use homeopathy with my last pregnancy, after my water broke but labor would not start. I didn't have a lot of luck with it, but I think that was because my midwife for this last pregnancy, although a " licensed homeopath " wasn't very good at it and really didn't know what she was doing. She did not administer in water. You can use homeopathy for different conditions, but would need to see what the situation was at that time before deciding on a remedy. It could be one of many, depending on what you're needing. On Mon, Dec 22, 2008 at 7:11 PM, jenjackcarver <jenjackcarver@...> wrote: > > What would you advise for labor? Guest guest
Oh, I emailed Jim about something before to pick his brain about Pasteur. Someone on another forum said something and I went to the expert for confirmation. Haha--I guess that did sound funny about Jed.
