Shari,

I will keep your sisters son in my prayer.

Jim Brodsky said he knows someone in Tampa that does what he does.

He was going to get me his name and phone number. I will call and

remind him today. Hang in there.

hi there

thanks so much to everyone who has responded to me the last few days with support, love, and advice. I really appreciate all of your concern. there has been so many posts i figured i would try to respond to all the questions in one....

ok - as far as disability goes, the dr has stated is as fibro and cfs and chronic pain syndrome - implants were mentioned in some of the medical records that were sent but i am not sure if that will be a consideration

Yes I have been eating a ton of raw garlic, coconut oil, and some supplements. my plans were to do a serious detox and liver/bowel cleanse when I left work but since the disability has not come in, we had to pull my little boy (almost 3) out of preschool. it is hard enough taking care of him during the day while sick - i don't think i could do it while herxing... i bought a bunch of stuff to detox at the health food store 2 months ago. i have been taking supplements but haven't done the detox stuff in case i get really sick. my little punkin' requires a LOT of attention from his mommy especially... not that i am am complaining as i love him more than anything in the world - he is my little angel but that makes things extremely difficult

as far as the house thing goes... we just bought this home in january - we lived in a very very small home that i HATED for 5 years saving to move into a nice neighborhood like this - it isn't huge or horribly expensive. the house isn't our main issue as far as money goes. it is other debts that have occured as a result of all of the money I haven't been making in disability since leaving work - three operations in the last year hasn't helped...

I did finally land an appt tomorrow w/ psychiatrist - thanks for the advice ! I didn't quite go as far as you mentioned but I made it clear that I needed an appt right away. my depression is getting out of control and i am crying constantly - I am on prozac - low dose- and have been for a few years since i got sick. maybe i need something else.

pain stuff - I have an appt at 9 tomorrow w/ my pain mgt doc. i guess i will just tell him that the avinza isn't working - i get freaked out telling him stuff like that as i don't want him to think i an a junkie and cut me off... i just really can not tolerate the amount of pain that i am in right now. maybe i will mention the oxycontin. the last few days something really weird has been going on w/ my boobs - i am over 1 year post explant and i am starting to have a lot of pain under my left breast. it is similar to the pain post op when i had costochrondritis - it looks a little swollen on the ribs and hurts so bad i can't wear a bra. i wonder if there is another infection of mabe a piece of junk working its way through?

I think that covers it all... my hands hurt so bad lately i didn't want to respond to every post. thanks to all of you so very much - i will let you know how it goes

Shari I am so glad you got those appointments. good for you girl. As

for prozac i won't deny I am not a big fan of that crap, but hey if

you need an anti depressant there are newer better ones than prozac.

So you might want to switch, that can be rough too, so easy goes it.

As for your pain doc sometimes it depends on the Dr but mine is

usually really open to suggestions and to trying different things. I

told her that I heard that oxycontin was helping another girl I new

with similiar symptoms and she put me on that and the oxy immediate

release for the breakthrough pain and that really did the trick for

pain issues.

So anyhow hope it all goes well. I know how scary the whole thing is,

esp with your breast hurting. It sounds like you may need to see an

expert, like Feng or Kolb or someone else that knows allot about this

stuff. I mean I had a friend who ended up being full of scar tissue

that her first PS left in her, she ended up going to Feng and Feng

removed it and showed it to her, it was black and rotten. So much for

her body absorbing it like the PS told her.

You just never know. It sucks because the money situation and all,

but shoot, if your in that position you have to do something, you

should not have swelling or pain anymore after this long.

Did you get the report from your explanting ps about if he did the

complete capsulectomy? I would get it if you have not already.

it is your right to know and to to have that information for sure.

I will be praying for your appt's tomorrow to go well and that things

will be better for you soon,

hang in there and keep your chin up

hugs

Shari, I just wanted to suggest that you look into filing chapter 11 bankruptcy. Under chapter 11 the court orders you to pay a certain amount on bills such as credit cards, etc. The creditors must accept the amount the court orders and it is based on your ability to pay. I'm not sure if it is chapter 11 or 13. One is for individuals and one is for corporations. Something to check out if you need relief from creditors and you would be able to keep your house. Chapter 7 is personal bankrupty.

My suggestion is, if you're going to declare banruptcy, go all the way. Doesn't matter if you're in the hole 5,000 or 50,000. You're SOL for credit wise for 7 years. If you still have room on you're crdit cards, spend up. You have to wait at least 60-90 days after you stop paying on your cards to file. So whatever other doc bills or things you need(getting car or home repairs, get it done now. Just don't go out and buy furniture or items that look obvious(the bank can ask for these items back).

I knew of few Peeps who filed chapter 7. They were already in so deep at 20,000, that they ran up all cards and paid off medical expensive and bought flight tickets in advance. The thing is, if you're already in deep s**t financialy, go all the way, it won't ruin your credit any more than it already is. As I've stated, be it 20,000, 60,000 or whatever, you're credit is damaged for 7 years anyway.

I don't know what it's like to be in your place, but you have sympathy nonetheless. Don't feel bad, you're not alone. Don Jonson is currently filing bankruptcy. Toni Braxton and Mike Tyson had filed a few years back. It's a big area in law now. I guess I'll be learning more about it in school this fall.

Best wishes. You'll feel better once it's over. There's no shame in this.anita kessler <AnitaK001@...> wrote:

Cricket:

I never had that reaction but a dermatologist I saw at s Hopkins has. Evidently it can be an allergic reaction to silicone.

Sorry your son's friend is going through this.
