Guest guest
Cricket: I thought I recalled Dimonds saying she had some type of boils or something allong that line not to long ago. Maybe she will read this and be able to help you. My sisters best friend has had silicone gel implants for 15 years and claims that she has never had a single problem with them. In fact her take on it is that she is never gonna worry bout it, never even remove them unless one breaks. I think she is nuts. However, she has chronic bursitis and esp her knees and other joints hurt all the time. She had to give up running and was told she may be looking at joint replacement in her future. She is my age(39) and claims that the arthritis runs in her family. It does, but her parents are not as bad as her and they are in their 70's. THe other thing I recall about her is she has chronic UTI's (urinary tract infections) and is always being treated for that as well. It seems that the women who did not get sick right away don't catch on or don't want to believe it and it is easier to blame it on age, heredity, anything but the implants. I wish there was a way to get the real numbers of women who have old implants and have mystery ailments and live at Dr's offices and on pain pills! there has to be a way to track this stuff somehow. GOSH I WISH I WAS AN INVESTIGATOR! would that not be an interesting thing to be able to work on full time! sheesh I would love to know the truth. I bet the numbers of women with implants and chronic health problems is higher than even we imagine! sad, but true -C In , " Colleen " <cricket5643000@y...> wrote: > I have a very good friend who has had implants for 12 years.
