Guest guest
Alyce, as I also believe the good book sez, " Do unto others as you would 'ave em do unto you. " Hate to point this out, but you mispell 'humour'. Shame on yer:-))))) Oh I love a bit of American humor. Can't beat English humour though. Fred Re: Misconceptions Tony, I apologize for pointing out your misspelling. It was juvenile of me, but when you nitpick people, it's reasonable to expect to be nitpicked in return. But I apologize. Not everyone was in Mrs. 's fifth grade class, so not everyone is a spelling fanatic. And spelling is, after all, a dying art in our times. Guest guest
Which translation of the Good Book uses " sez " and " ave " ? The New Revised Cockney Standard Version? Guest guest
I also hate to point out that I STILL waiting for a apology. Tony publicly " accused " me of a statement I did not make. Then he proceeds to makes a comparison about part of my race, which is fine and acceptable. However, when my clarification was made and Bill corrected Tony and made it clear he was the one who made the " beer " statement. Everything in virtual reality continues as nothing happened. Now, I can take that as all is forgiven, but to completely ignore the fact that I have haven't recieved an apology, I cannot. I cannot make you apology to me Tony and I can accept that, but I was serious when I said I expect an apology. I would email you privately, but since my original email was blown off, I figured I would try here. People of all heights and colors have misconceptions made about them. They are unfair and yes, some are even hurtful, but the line between reality and Internet land I made no exception. If it wouldn't be said to the persons face, it most certainly shouldn't be said online. Maybe I am being sensitive about this and you feel it fine to continue ignore what you did, but I won't. What a person does and says in there own home is their business, but when it is done publicly and you get called about it, you should handle it the way it needs to be handle. It speaks to character. In my original email to the list, I said I would apology, but since I didn't do anything to warrant and apology, I can't. I stand by that. But to completely ignore my request, WOW. Can't help but wonder...does my height have something to do with? That I don't matter. My feelings concerning what occurred, I should just look past it because, the dwarf community has had 1000+ years of repression and have had to endure humilation because of their height? (Said, knowing I am average height on a dwarfism list) I should just expect the same. " Do unto others as you would have them do to you " Point taken.
