P.L.E.A.S.E.- Aids Awareness Cell is a non goverment organisation in

a small town called Sivsagar, Assam registered under society

registration act of 1860 in guwahati.

P.L.E.A.S.E. stands for

P - Prevevtion

L - Learning

E - Education

A - Awareness

S - Stop

E - End of Aids

Our main objective is to prevent the epidemic from spreading further

and to reduce the impact of epidemic not only upon the infected

person but upon the health and socio-economic status of the general

population at all levels by means of awareness creation through

appropriate communication stratagies includind mass media

campaigns,interpersonalcommunication,conducting workshop with school

and college students etc and thus serving as a forum for exchange of

ideas and dissemination of information about HIV/AIDS.

We seek support from individuals,groups,NGO'S/CBO'S for an enlarged

community initiative for prevention and alleviation of the AIDS

problem.
