Hi Ann,

What really KILLED my libido was being on the Pill - stupidest thing ever, take it so I can relax and not worry about pregnancy, and then be left with not the slightest interest in making love with my hubby !

I'm sure the girls here will have info on supplements perhaps, but what I discovered was lacking for me was simply a focus on the erotic, along with a hang-up about it dating back to the mis-education about intercourse I got when I was a teen. Took me nearly 20 years to discover I was suffering from vaginismus, an entirely psychological condition which causes painful intercourse as I was too tense. This due to some really dumb "programming" I'd received about making love being dirty, sinful, etc etc. Got that sorted out, and then learnt that I tend to lose all interest if I don't consciously build a bit of romantic day dreaming or exposure to such into my day/week. One just gets so caught up in practicalities ! Now I make sure I watch a romantic movie or occassionally read a romance novel. I prefer the latter, I'm not big on the loveless stuff that most movies come up with these days. Guess I'm an old fashioned girl, can't have the erotic without the love and caring. I also ask for what I want, such as reminding my hubby when we forget to romance each other....initially I thought it would make me feel like he's sending me flowers cuz I asked him to, but I soon realised that it takes work to keep it all going. He appreciates me being honest with him when I feel a bit neglected, as we women are far better at remembering to do this stuff than guys are. I do my bit by setting up times and places for us to romance each other, and it seems to work for us.

I hope this will be of some help to someone out there !

Fiona

Anyone

Does anyone have any tips, supplements or whatever works on stimulating libido/sex drive? Thanks!Ann

Yes, our son has been on it for around two years. We get it compounded with

stevia. Every time I have tried to withdraw it, his yeast flares back up.

He is also on two r herbal anti-fungals. I was told that he could stay on

it up to ten years.
