Guest guest
My sex drive diminished but then my marriage was also falling apart as I became sicker and sicker.I found that my sex drive returned as I got better. The depression that so often accompanies rheumatic diseases and I DO say accompanies because it's every much a symptom (and not a result of the impact of these diseases) as joint pain is, the depression lifed..the sex drive returned and I'm feeling very normal again sexually.Keep in mind that many many drugs can affect your ability to climax..antidepressants, antihypertensive drugs..along with stress.I have discussed these issues with my doctor and found that many doctors become uncomfortable when it's discussed. But,I think it's very important to talk about these issues with your spouses because it would be very easy to misconstrue the problem and not recieve the understanding and patience that you deserve. And yes, I do find it to be a wonderful method of pain relief. It's the best medicine for my headaches...but shhhhhh..lets keep that under our hats!! <smile> Joanie
Guest guest
Ann, Can I ask you how old you are and if your taking any kind of synthetic hormones? I am almost 40 and personally have always been the opposite of most of the women I know, meaning I am like a sex fiend. I really cannot go more than a day without it without feeling tense, and when I get my period I become so moody because it messes with my sex life. Anyhow, I wish I new why some of us are so much more naturally prone to being sexual than others. I am not sure why I am this way but I have been my whole life and I don't take anything at all for it. There were some breast enhancement pills I wasted my money on and they seemed to make me even more into it but I stopped taking them awhile ago. I do know that lately I have seen commercials about some new thing for women, but I cannt for the life of me recall what it is. I will try to find out for you. I am curious though about your age, if you are still menstruating etc....or on any synthetic hormones or birth control pills. Fill me in and maybe I can be of more help. Also depression and anxiety can result in a decreased sex drive, so that could be an issue too. Is this something that has happened slowly over time or fast? Do you think it could be related to your implants issues? I know immediately after explant when I was so down on myself I thought I would never have sex again. For me the number one thing that messes with my sex drive is my self esteem, if I feel fat, or that I don't look nice I don't want sex at all. I am very picky about this stuff, and I guess it is to hubby's advantage because i buy tons of sexy clothes to wear to make myself feel really hot. To me self esteem is key, if you have tons of confidence in how you look and feel hot about yourself, usually that will help your sex drive. I just bought these 7 inch heels and several sexy dresses and outfits and these make me feel like a sex kitten, hee hee, not to be too risque' here but I even do little strip teases and things, it always helps me feel sexy. It took me awhile to adapt to my smaller boobs, but now I have figured out what looks good on the small breasted body and there are allot of things that realy look better on small breasted women in the lingerie dept. I would try to buy some sexy clothes, some perfume, take a warm bath, get all dressed up, do fun things like that, instead of a magic pill I feel our self esteem is the number one thing that motivates us sexually. let me know if I can help in any way at all. This is really one of my favorite topics, hee hee, sex! and I think that this can always be improved! hugs -C
Guest guest
, I am on the Nuva Ring, which is a very low dose birth control. This happened over the last year or so. Once things get going, everything is GREAT, but DH would rather I be more interested in starting things up. At this point, I would rather sleep than anything else. I don't mind trying something for a little boost, but I don't want to use anything that is not recommended by someone I trust. Thanks for your help. Guest guest
I don't get horney really at all. I think it's because I have low DHEAS and testosterone. I'm going to the gyn on 6/2, I'll have to inquire about that.... Depression is a sex killer too. naturalbeauty38 <naturalbeauty38@...> wrote: Ann,Can I ask you how old you are and if your taking any kind of synthetic hormones? Guest guest
I don't know what the deal is with me but I am always horny, so maybe I have too many hormones ha ha. I don't know, but my hubby sure likes it, no complaints there. I have actually been like that since i turned 30 and it has only gotten worse. Sex was a BIG PART of why i got implants, because when my boobs went south i was so worried I would never have sex again. I got implants really for that reason, all about sex for me. Not really about how i would look in a tank top, more about how I would be able to have sex again and not be self consience. Anyhow it worked out because I love the way I look now and am happy with the little boobs. I have all kinds of tricks to make them look bigger, or to just let them look small, I think men like small breasts because it makes them feel they are with a youthful woman, and my breasts are def youthful looking, as in a 15 year olds breasts! ha ha. I hope you get your sex drive thing figured out, and yeah depression can be a sex killer, or it can drive you the other way into a sex addict, which I have also been through in the past. That is a bad one let me tell ya. Can get ya in lots of bad situations. I am glad that is all behind me now. -C , Jane Doe <oceanlilly_csu@y...> wrote: > I don't get horney really at all.
