Guest guest
ok everyone, My insurance company just called me. It seems my complaint to the corporate office must have been heard! They have asked for all my records to be faxed to them. The problem is I don't have that many. I have my letter requesting reimbursement for surgery, Dr K's letter of medical necessity, a lab letter with my positive ANA on it, my hair analysis showing the high tin levels, and some of Dr K's letters on why en bloc is so critical, also MRI tests which were normal. I don't have copies of the audiology test or nerve conduction study, which were normal as well, but I can reference them and that the neurologist was unable to determine the cause of illness. I would like reimbursement for the portion which would have been covered by a contracted surgeon. Should I ask for that specifically? And advice is VERY appreciated. Thanks!
