Guest guest
I'm very sorry to read your news, Colleen, both about your seizures and your fiancé. I know you've faced a lot of losses since just about the time you joined us. I am feeling quite sad about that. It's a great deal to bear. Do you have people around you who are being supportive right now? Maybe a counselor or mentor you can talk to? The physician and emotional hurt must be tremendous. I hope you can find a way to cope. Of course, come here any time. We are also happy to listen and try to help. Please let us know what happens on the 15th. Guest guest
Hi Colleen, Just thinking and I have known of a seizure disorder for over 23 years now. I don't so much blackout, but who enjoys the shaking or really losing track of time or what you were doing. Once in a while the easiest thing confuses me. Once I was in the shower and had no idea what these water coming out was, or why I was there so I left. A few none painful test a year and so far they can't locate a reason for this problem. All I will say is it took time to find the right meds, and even if it is a pain if they ask you to take them I would. Because of the meds the seizures are not grand mal ones and even if I feel a little bit like on could happen, I will not drive any where. Let us know what happens with the doctor and when they do occur I always just write down the date and time and perhaps what I was doing. So know with this, you are not alone. Love and prayers, Sheri --- Colleen <colleen_donald@...> wrote: > Well I have been having blackout episodes and they > want to check me for a > seizure disorder. Guest guest
I will graduate in May. Guest guest
Hang in there Colleen. When you get a job with group insurance, maybe it won't be that way. I've heard of some that make you wait a year for preexisting conditions. a > I will graduate in May.
