I'm very sorry to read your news, Colleen, both about your seizures and

your fiancé.

I know you've faced a lot of losses since just about the time you joined

us. I am feeling quite sad about that. It's a great deal to bear. Do you

have people around you who are being supportive right now? Maybe a

counselor or mentor you can talk to?

The physician and emotional hurt must be tremendous. I hope you can find

a way to cope. Of course, come here any time. We are also happy to

listen and try to help.

Please let us know what happens on the 15th.

Hi Colleen,

Just thinking and I have known of a seizure disorder

for over 23 years now. I don't so much blackout, but

who enjoys the shaking or really losing track of time

or what you were doing. Once in a while the easiest

thing confuses me. Once I was in the shower and had

no idea what these water coming out was, or why I was

there so I left.

A few none painful test a year and so far they can't

locate a reason for this problem. All I will say is

it took time to find the right meds, and even if it is

a pain if they ask you to take them I would. Because

of the meds the seizures are not grand mal ones and

even if I feel a little bit like on could happen, I

will not drive any where.

Let us know what happens with the doctor and when they

do occur I always just write down the date and time

and perhaps what I was doing.

So know with this, you are not alone.

Love and prayers, Sheri

Yeah I have been keeping track of when it happens and what I am doing. I

told my doctor and he is sending the list to my neurologist. Monday night

when I get home from classes and such, I will e-mail you all and tell you

what happened...

I will graduate in May. I can't even have my doctor look at anything having

to do with RA because it was diagnosed on another insurance so this

insurance says it is pre-existing. It is an insurance from my school. What a

pain in the butt.....

Thanks though a.

Hang in there Colleen. When you get a job with group insurance, maybe it

won't be that way. I've heard of some that make you wait a year for

preexisting conditions.

They won't even let me wait a year on this insurance. Hopefully it will be

all better when I get a full time job with benefits.

It is very frustrating.

Thanks again a

Colleen, your website is beautiful, I just checked it out. One

question that I wanted to ask you - even though you are still

struggling with health issues, has your health improved since

explant?
