HIV/AIDS Coordinator

Catholic Relief Services / Guwahati State Office

Reporting to: State Representative

Catholic Relief Services, an Overseas Relief and Development Agency

working in more than 80 countries and territories around the world to

alleviate poverty and suffering, is seeking a qualified professional

to work for its Guwahati Office. The position is contractual and

carry attractive salary packages, commensurate with experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

Acts as the primary point person for moving forward and grounding

Preventing AIDS in Northeast India (PANI) project in NE region,

Provides technical support to Partner Support Officers; assisting in

the capacity building of staff and Partners; building program

strategies; ensuring program quality on HIV/AIDS projects at various

levels etc.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Applicant should possess a post graduate degree preferably in

sociology, social work, or MBBS or its equivalent.

2. Excellent English/Hindi language skills

3. Comfortable with extensive travel.

4. High energy level, and an enthusiasm for meeting and working with

a wide range of individuals and situations.

5. 5-6 years experience working in HIV/AIDS and related field.

6. Excellent computer skills.

7. Willingness to learn and adapt to changing situations/environment

You will also be able to work constructively in multidisciplinary

teams. You will be required to travel extensively in India.

Salary: Commensurate to qualification and experience.
