Hello ladies.

Honestly, I wish I WASN'T a new member here.

I feel lost and am looking for answers and hope.

I am also in a dilemma and don't know what to do. Perhaps you can

help me sort this out.

I am on disability for CFS and Fibro. I was in a period of

somewhat " remission " (the " relapses " as I call it, come and go)I

still worked a couple of days at a day spa in my town. I had one of

my clients, who is a plastic surgeon, at the recommendation of him,

put a small amount

silicone injections to the folds alongside my nose 1 1/2 years ago.

I asked him if it was the kind that caused problems and he said no,

it was new kind that is safe. I had no idea that what he was giving

me not only was dangerous, but illegal!!!

However, at this time,my CFS and Fibro is so bad, it is the worst it

ever, EVER was. I am also having SEVERE panic attacks, lymph

swelling, nausea, chest pains and dizziness. I thought it was my CFS

or

fibro, but in reading articles on the internet, the injection may be

causing this and causing my CFS and fibro to worsen. I have read it

can cause cancer, blindness, brain tumor, eat away the face and

migrate to the lungs, liver and heart.

I am hoping because it was a small amount and not that long ago, I

will not be in such a nightmare that I see some others are.

I found three doctors who specialize in silicone toxicity. One in

Atlanta,one in Ohio and one here in New Jersey.

I spoke to the one in NJ.It will be over $1,950 to see the one in

NJ and he doesn't take insurance. I am on Medicare. He said I have a

malpractice case on my hands and gave me the name of an attorney. He

also gave me the NJ State Medical Examiner's # to call and make a

formal complaint. He was very angry to hear that I were injected. He

said it is very illegal and my injections are akin to silicone

breast implant leakage.

It would probably be more economical for me to fly to Atlanta or

Ohio!

If anyone has traveled to these doctors before (Feng and Kolbe) what

would like to know is if I do fly down there, can do as much as we

can (tests, etc) so that I do not have to make frequent trips? I

have a very low income. Also, how long do you think I would need to

be there? A day? A few days? A week? etc.

I want to be examine and see what is going on etc, before I go to a

lawyer. I need answers and to have some hope about my health before

I go into the stress of all that, as I have been crying so much and

in severe anxiety/panic and depression since this began. It's all so

overwhelming.

With not having great health to begin with, and being really bad at

handling stress, the thought of travel, surgery, scars, lawyers and

courts are scaring me.

Now some of you may beat me over the head for being a ridiculous, but

I am also in a moral dilemma of ruining this man's life. I know

him,he has sent people to me at the spa, I know his family, his

friends and I'd be ruining their lives too if I get his license

taken away. But I need to get this stuff out of my body, and that

will take money.

Which is also why I don't understand why he would inject knowing he

could lose his practice? I mean, what the hell was he thinking????!!

All things horrible thoughts are going through my head, like the

reprucussions from him. Will his friends and family throw bricks

through my windows, harass me, etc.if I do this.

I also have no money to retain a lawyer.

I just don't know what to do.
