I can't believe this is turning into a political forum -- it's kind of ridiculous. Don't lose sight as to what this group is about. No one really cares about political feelings. Remember that when you type to the 'group' -- maybe you could address each other privately and continue your debate -- without exposing everyone else to it?!

Lynda this is why I said I wasnt going to get into a pissing contest with you. We are all entitled to our own opinons. But frankly, I'd rather drill for oil in Alaska instead of buying it from forgein governments and improving their economy. Call me selfish, but I am much more concerned about my life, my family, how we are going to live and our welfare than that of the Caribou and the little creatures in the wilderness. I'd rather have a government of big business than a government of liberals who have nothing better to do than stick their nose in my life and try to tell me what to do and what i should say or how i should feel because they have nothing better to do. So lets just drop it and focus on getting well.

Where ever that lie came from, I can only guess.I am just not in favor of big business running this country, and anyone who does not think it is should guess again. The lobbies are the ones controlling legislation, and business runs the lobbies.Just because the Republicans use the right wing Conservative religions as a guideline does not mean they are on the side of the little people. Look at what they support. They have torn down the environmental progress we have made in recent years, allowed oil to be drilled in Alaskan wildernesses, allowed companies to pollute more than they could before Bush got in, kept the FDA from

regulating tobacco as a drug (which means they can continue to add their addictive materials to keep people addicted and hook more teenagers), etc. They are not on the side of the common person.LyndaAt 01:57 PM 6/9/2004, you wrote:>This statement is so untrue.
