Not necessarily. I know Dr. Huang sometimes does an inverted U pattern, to

keep from removing the nipple and to retain the sensation. It is not

always possible, depending on the amount of tissue.

I heard that when certain surgeons do a lift - you may not even have a scar visible -- is that true? Or, do you think - all lifts will have scars?

There are numerous ways and some are better suited for different body

types than others. The anchor lift is my least favorite and the

benelli is right behind that, personally the ones I have seen that

look the best are the vertical lifts, i have seen some but not many

that say they had an internal lift. I don't know much about this one

and having only seen 2 pics of it I don't know what to really think

of it. The women I saw that had it were not as saggy and flat as me

so I am not sure if this would have worked on me anyhow. The vertical

lift is usually the one that is used with the best results, at least

that I have seen, for getting the breast in the right position and

for reducing the size of the areaola that gets so stretched out from

implants. If you look in the photo section you can view all the

different lifts, my pics are a good example because I included all

the pics, from prior to implants, to implants, to immediate post

explant and vertical lift, to now. It is really detailed, and I did

have a really great outcome scar wise. I am small, tiny really, but

that is ok. I am a small woman.

hope this offers some help. I am not good at describing these lifts,

if you look at the photos they really show what I am saying.

vertical is also called lolipop because it looks like a round lolipop

around the nipple with a line down each breast and NO scar in the

crease. The problem with crease incisions is that later if the

breasts end up smaller the incision may end up higher than the crease

and remain visible.

ALLL LIFTS WILL HAVE SOME KIND OF SCAR, but they vary. If you saw my

photos you can see that they are invisible and no one would ever know

if I had surgery or not unless they got right up close to me, even

then it is very very light. Everyone heels differently, even with an

internal lift, your going to have an incision somewhere.

Avoid PSs who don't think outside the box and use the traditional "anchor" mastopexy method. There are newer and more innovated techniques used by Dr. , Dr. Feng and Dr. Spear.msnico80 <msnico80@...> wrote:

Lynda:

Hi.I'd like to preface this post with stating that I don't mean to be rude but the "And Haung" reply to my posts (second time) has made me a bit uncomfortable.

If you want to recommend Dr. Haung that's fine, but I feel the "And Haung" that you leave as a reply to the end of my posts suggests that somehow I *should* have added Huang's name to the three doctors I list here.I feels it's condescending (even if that is not your intention) as I have absolutely NO responsibility whatsoever to endorse a doctor I choose not to recommend and I'm entitled to that opinion as a patient and consumer and I would hope you would respect my decision.

Let's just say I don't feel about Huang the way you do.I have my reasons.

Take Care,

Just include her the first time. It does seem that you intentionally

exclude her often.
