Guest guest
Beth, Does your heart rate go up when you stand up after sitting for a while? I am wondering because I have the exact symptoms that you have and just found out today that I have orthostatic tachycardia. It is a problem with the autonomic nervouse system and it effects many CFS patients (and patients who do not have CFS). Some docs think that it is a major cause of CFS type symptoms. It can cause many many different symptoms. Hope you are better soon... Ann --- In , " bethlakey " <bethlakey@y...> wrote: > Patty, did your tingling feel similiar to a hand or foot falling > asleep? Guest guest
Dear Beth, I use to think I had MS too. I had a twitch that was so extreme it shook my whole right side when I would fall asleep. If I tried to lay on that side it would still do it. My twitches went away even before explant. I think I had a little peak again at explant ( I had silicone spill) but they weren't much of anything. I don't get any of the muscle twitches now. Praise God. Yours will go away soon after explant. God Bless, bethlakey <bethlakey@...> wrote: Patty, did your tingling feel similiar to a hand or foot falling asleep? That's how mine feels. Mostly in my foot, or left hand, left arm, sometimes whole combination there. It's a very strange feeling. Sometimes I will shake my foot, but it really doesn't help. My doctor calls them paresthesias. I prayed to God to take it away from my face, and for the most part it is gone from there, so I should feel thankful for that. The fear creeps back in and I start wondering all over again if I have MS, and when you look up the MS symptoms, mine are all there. The only thing I have that is not consistent with MS is that wet heat will make my symptoms better, sometimes for hours at a time, so it's more like a neuropathy, I think. Anyway I was just curious how long yours took to go away. Also, I am still having muscle twitches and they have started in my right eye as well,sigh......:)Beth
Guest guest
Ann, Before I had my explant I had tachycardia, about 120-130 beats per minute. That started two days after implant and stayed with me on and off the whole time I had them, about 11 months. Since explant, I have not had one episode, praise God. And it's been almost three months now. It looks like most of us have similar symptoms. > > Patty, did your tingling feel similiar to a hand or foot falling > > asleep? That's how mine feels. Guest guest
, I had a scary episode a few nights ago as I was falling asleep. My left arm felt frozen and my face starting twitching horribly. I thought I was having a seizure or something, but I fell asleep, so I can't be sure, lol. Anyway, I've been explanted for three months now so am just waiting on these last symptoms to get better, I hope! hugs, Beth Patty, did your tingling feel similiar to a hand or foot falling > asleep? Guest guest
Thanks Beth, this is really great info, and I believe is really appropriate. I need to see if I can handle green juices again without feeling loopy...if I can, I will do some green juices to start and look into the chlorella. I checked out Mercola's site and it looks like a great product! I am glad you are seeing some improvement! I think the fish oil is another thing I need to be dedicated to taking again. I'm pretty awful about keeping up with my supplements anymore! : ) Thanks for the input!
