Guest guest
When you go through an explantation, do your breasts feel much lighter? Different? Is it a strange feeling after having implants for so long????
Guest guest
I would say mine felt soooooo much better after explant. I had them for over 7 years and they always felt hard and weird. I love not having the heavy things hanging off of me now. It was a little weird just dealing with buying bras again and stuff but I love the nastural feel of my breasts now shari
Guest guest
I did not have implants for that long so I may be a bad person to answer but since no one else did I will tell you how it felt to me. I only had implants 18 months and they always felt weird, yet I liked the way I looked in clothes with them too, so, I did get used to them in a funny way and felt as though they were a part of me, but they never felt right, at the same time and they always were kind of sore, I just learned to live with it. Since I became ill almost right away I never truly enjoyed having them in the way many have, because I got sick within a few months and so to me explantation was probably less traumatic in that way, like compared to someone having them for 20 years or something like that. However at first it felt strange, and light, but in that compression bandage that I had to wear due to Feng being concerned about me having so much fluid drainage, she made me wear a tight bandage for two weeks after my surgery and it made me flat as a boy, it felt bad and I hated that part of it. I am glad I did it because I feel that it helped my incisions heal better and after seeing some results I know I got really good scars but yeah, it sucked for awhile. In fact until i could get back into a normal bra I felt kind of flat and yucky to be totally honest. I don't have much and wearing those bralettes made me feel like I preteen. Once I fluffed a bit and began wearing pretty feminine bras and cute little tops again without looking like a slut, I felt better and better. So give yourself a good amount of adjustment time. It sounded to me like you have gained a few pounds you said, since you got them, and that may be your saving grace. I have seen women that gained only 10 or 15 pounds but it made such a difference, in the amount of breast they had after implantation. If you look at some of the girls photos on this site, like , like Iggy I think is one, they have tons of breast tissue, and they both I beleive gained some weight. So that can be a good thing, unless it is weight you want to lose, and comes off your breasts after. I have no idea what that would do to a good lift. Maybe nothing who knows, everything is SO so individual. I think that if your the one who is going to Dr Feng you can discuss her options and also I heard she is going the internal lifts on some patients now that are good candidates for it. I know she does not do anchors or benellis but her work is really impecable. If your not going to her, then I would just talk to your PS and see what they think, I know Dr Feng grabbed a little handful of my tissue and was honest and told me that I had very little breast tissue and that it was mostly skin, but she comforted me by saying she would make the most of what I had and she did. I knew already that I had nothing, I mean I just never had large breasts when I was in shape and I have been in good shape for 7 years now. So anyhow hope all this rambling of mine helps somehow. hugs In , PACCOAST@a... wrote: > When you go through an explantation, do your breasts feel much lighter? > Different? Guest guest
I agree! Mine feel so good, so soft and light! I always hated the way I could feel the implants move and especially when I layed on my sides, I had to hold the implant that was on the top to keep it from smashing the other one. Yuck!!! One other thing...from the day I got the implants I had a pain in the center of my back - between my shoulder blades. That pain left THE DAY THE IMPLANTS LEFT!!! WOW!! I don't miss that! Guest guest
--- Hi, Yes I felt lighter, especially since my body was fighting them for years and I was so bloated and swollen all over my body... I felt free... yes at first it was horrible and shocking, but I was so sick and knew it was the implants, I only felt like that for one day or two... My breasts felt empty for a bit... but now about four months later, they look beautiful... yes they are flater, but they are def. more natural, and I still have alot of breast tissue... I had them in 4 yrs. So in answering your question, it did not feel strange for me, I instantly felt better... it was like a bad dream having them... cuz as soon as they were out, I got my health back...roughly about 85% as of now... I am so thankful for this site... I went to Feng as well... Love and blessings, Iggy PS, up until my explant, I could not walk or work, or breathe, I was so weak and sick, and in so much pain,,, my daughter use to cry at school to her teacher saying that her mommy is dying... No more crying for my girl at school!!!!!!! In , PACCOAST@a... wrote: > When you go through an explantation, do your breasts feel much lighter? > Different? Guest guest
Iggy how long did you have your implants in for? I am really curious as you seem to have made one of the fastest recoveries I know, and you sound allot like me in that respect. It is interesting too, that we both had the same doc. I think Dr Feng just does a great job at getting EVERYTHING out of there, hence the long surgery, but quick recovery. Though you seem to be better a bit faster than me, I still think it is really something cool the way Feng patients get well so fast. She is just so good at what she does, there is not doubt in my mind she is responsible for my recovery and so many others too.I wish I could say I have heard more stories of implant women who were as sick as us that got well as fast, but I just don't know of that many, do you? Seems like Feng patients just get well faster and heal up really well. Of course there was Jeena who runs explantation.com that had tons of problems even with DR Feng but she is pretty sure that if she had gone to someone else she may have lost her breast completey,as she had necrotic tissue, which was due to the implants cutting off the blood supply to her breast tissue. Had a less experienced plastic surgeon worked on her she may not have fared so well. I would love to hear from more people who were very ill and got well quickly. I think it has allot to do with the surgeon, and the way they removed the implants, but of course our own immune system counts alot to. When you have more time tell us more about your experience with Dr Feng and also how she made your breasts look so good without any lift or scars or anything that I can see. It is fabulous that your back at work too, so soon. I was back at work in 10 days after explant and never missed another day of work due to implants.
