,

I REALLY sympathize with your friend. I was in the same boat from

carrying a 9 1/2 pound baby, and I'm 5 ft, 90pds, so you can imagine

that my stomach was just a mess. Umbilical hernia, stomach muscles

separated, etc you name it. So when my plastic surgery miraculously

told me how he could fix all of it I was enthused. That's when I

decided to throw in the implants as a treat. I know he tied my

muscles back together using some type of nylon sucture. I had never

given that much thought before. Also, I've had 2 c-cections and

I've been sewn back internally with nylon suctures as well. Some of

that can't be helped and I pray that none of that is responsible for

my condition today. I really think it was the implants. Dr K

thinks so as well. She did tell me I would be having some type of

stomach pain in that area if it was from the tummy tuck.

As for your friend, I would encourage her to hold off a little. Do

you think vaginal exercises would help her at all? I can't remember

the spelling, but it's kegels or something like that.

My sisterinlaw just recently had her uterus removed and they had to

put her bladder in a nylon mesh sling. It's incredible. I had no

idea they could do things like that. So far she is fine.

hugs,

Beth
